Cool behemoth. The K73 is an affordable media all-rounder that is even suitable for a bit of showing off with its polished aluminum and handy feel. Find out what the expensive N series' little brother pull out of its hat. Gaming graphics and two HDDs are a good start.

Androidbook. With the Eee Tab TF101, Asus hopes reap the benefits of both notebooks and tablets. The concept of an Android tablet with an optional keyboard dock to transform it into a laptop has been around since at least the last Cebit trade fair. But now we take a closer look at one of these fully-functional transformers.

Acoustic mobile pleasure. The Austrian premium audio supplier, AKG, introduces the K 830 BT as a mobile headset with wireless Bluetooth transmission. A powerful sound, laterally placed controls and a low weight let the headphone excel. However, this solution isn't exactly cheap with 179 euros (RRP).

Downgrade. The sound machine, Asus N73JQ, impressed in November 210 with high-end workmanship, exclusive materials and a Full HD screen. The predecessor no longer has a quad core, dual HDD and Full HD. In return, the price has been reduced.

Premium? A long time rumors about the succession of the slim Adamo series flew thick and fast. Now, we know the official answer: Adamo turns into Dell XPS -z. The 15-inch model of the new slim aluminium laptops is already under review. Here are the first results.

A Breath of Perfection. The Schenker XMG A501 may look plain, but it has great aspirations: taking the best attributes notebooks have to offer, integrating them into a single laptop, and creating the perfect all-round laptop. The matt display and Optimus graphics switching technology promise great mobility, and the integrated Nvidia GeForce GT 555M is sure to excite gamers. Does the competition stand a chance?

Little multi-talent. The Taiwanese company, Asus, now has a subnotebook with a 13.3 inch screen and the latest hardware available in the U30SD. The combination of Intel's Core i5-2410M, the dedicated Nvidia GGT 520M and not least the big battery awake hopes of a mobile entertainer.

The perfect wave? The successor of the S8500, the Wave II GT-S8530, has been available since the beginning of the year. However, there aren't many novelties apart from a larger display and an upgraded operating system. Is that enough to meet the high expectations set by the predecessor?

Colorful. Dell is upgrading its Inspiron range. Besides the latest processor from the Sandy Bridge family, the notebook's look can be modified to suit personal preferences with help from a switch concept. Dell again provides a vast amount of different color combination and designs.

Tablet-book. A tablet that you can transform into a netbook without much ado is what Acer has created with the Iconia Tab W500. But not only the design causes a rage, the technical innards also attract attention with AMD's C-50 CPU and HD 6250 graphics chip. We checked the performance in comparison to the standard configuration of comparable netbooks and tablets.

Brilliant performance? With the ThinkPad Edge E420s, Lenovo now has a slim notebook available that is supposed to be especially designed for SMEs. The latest hardware fused with ThinkPad qualities makes you want more. However, the high-gloss display steps out of line.

Takin' Care of Business. Lenovo ThinkPads of the W series are pure-bred professional laptops that have earned a reputation for powerful performance, above all in the area of graphics and computation-intensive office tasks. The ThinkPad W520 is the most recent 15.6" model in the series and is said to reconcile tradition with technological progress, but is the ThinkPad W520 all it's cracked up to be?
