Galaxy Tab 8.9 joins the 10.1 on Amazon Germany pre-order site

It is not been long when the Galaxy Tab 10.1 earned a webpage on Amazon Germany site, and as expected, the 8.9” followed suite. Engadget reports that you now have an option of pre-ordering either the 10.1” Galaxy Tab or the 8.9” one which was added recently.

The 8.9” Galaxy Tab will be available both in black and white, both with the same price – 606.50 apiece. That makes it 853 dollars which is significantly higher than the iPad 2 price-range. So the Galaxy Tab 8.9 will have to prove it is worth paying more than the iPad 2.

For the data crunchers, the Galaxy Tab 8.9, as the name suggests, sports an 8.9” screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, Honeycomb (may even come with 3.1), 3MP camera, a dual-core 1GHz processor and even with all these – weighs only 470gms.
