The Comet Lake chip also managed to surpass a 5 GHz clock rate during testing. However, its strong multi-core score is still short of what AMD’s older Ryzen 7 3800X has managed.

Lenovo's gaming brand Legion has become linked to an entry into the motherboard space. Apparently, it will kick things off in this vein with those for Intel Comet Lake and Comet Lake-S processors. This leak is based on images of boards with corresponding chipsets for both series.

A Canadian retailer has published the prices for the upcoming Comet Lake-S processors Intel Core i9-10900, Intel Core i7-10700K, and Intel Core i7-10700. The parts are similarly priced, at least with this particular outlet, to their Coffee Lake predecessors. However, it seems AMD Matisse processors could still offer users a decent price/performance edge.

If the numbers are true, Comet Lake-S would require hefty CPU coolers for sustained turbo performance under load.

A new report has stated that AMD’s highly anticipated Vermeer family of Ryzen 4000 desktop processors could be released around September this year. The latest series of AMD desktop CPUs is based on Zen 3 microarchitecture, with the chips expected to be manufactured on an improved 7nm+ process. Had your fill of the GTX 16 series yet? Well, Gigabyte has gone and released a GDDR6 version of the GTX 1650. No, that is not a joke. HKEPC appears to have gotten their hands on multiple Comet Lake S parts. Rumour has it that NVIDIA has delayed the release of its GeForce RTX 3000 GPUs until September.
