Apple has unveiled its brand new A16 Bionic SoC alongside the new iPhones. It is manufactured on TSMC's N4 node, packs 16 billion transistors, and uses its predecessors' Hexa-core design. Other features include a new neural engine, a five-core GPU and more efficient CPU cores.

Apple has announced a bunch of new devices at its "Far Out" event today. The devices include new Apple Watch models, the iPhone 14 series of smartphones, and the 2nd-gen AirPods Pro. The second-generation AirPods Pro promise longer battery life with a case that you can now locate with Apple Find My.

While the Apple Watch Series 8 comes with an Always-On Retina display, temperature sensing, and innovative features such as fall detection, emergency SOS, and crash detection. Even though AMD promised USB4 support for the upcoming Zen4-based processors, it looks like this feature could still see very limited availability even on premium AM5 motherboards. Gigabyte's new X670E AORUS MASTER, for instance, does not feature any USB4 ports, but supports a future USB4 add-in card.
