Fixes for the Galaxy Fold models that should be launched in June include reduced top and bottom hinge gaps, as well as an improved version of the screen protective film that has its ends tucked into the edges of the case. If you are not a fan of smartphone notches, you most likely will not like the Aquos R3, but the model certainly has some redeeming specs like the 6.2-inch IGZO IPS display with 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10 certification or the dedicated 20 MP video recording camera on the back. It also sports the Snapdragon 855 SoC like a true flagship, but the 3,200 mAh battery might not be a great choice in this case.

Compared to the K1, the upcoming OPPO K3 gets some upgrades, but some downgrades, as well. The upgrades include a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with no notch, a pop-up selfie cam, bigger 3,700 mAh battery, and up to 8 GB of RAM plus 128 GB storage, while the downgrades consist of a slightly slower Snapdragon 710 SoC and a 16 MP sensor for the selfie cam.

OnePlus seems to have kicked an own goal in its latest marketing teaser for the OnePlus 7 Pro. The Chinese company has posted a short video clip on its Twitter feed showing its latest smartphone being dropped into a bucket, implying water resistance and an IP67 or IP68 rating. The problem is, it hasn’t received any such certification, nor does OnePlus plan to seek certification.

Samsung Galaxy M40 pops up in GeekBench tests

The upcoming M40 could be released by June, seeing how fast Samsung launches all the M-series models these days. There's no denying that the new model is faster than the previous ones as it comes powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with 6 GB of RAM. Design-wise, there might not be notable differences compared to the M30 model, but rumors suggest a larger screen.
