Samsung's Galaxy Note 10 accessories are already on sale in Australia
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 range isn’t due to go on sale until August 23 in markets including the US, UK and Australia but in an unusual turn several official Samsung Galaxy Note 10 accessories have already reached retail channels, at least in Australia. It is often the case when new Android smartphones launch that it can be a little bit of a struggle getting the official protective cases and other official accessories at the same time. This is the first time we’ve seen official Samsung accessories for a new smartphone yet to officially go on sale before the device itself.
Notebook Check got to take a quick look at the new LED Cover and the new Clear View Cover. Each offers a slightly different take on Samsung’s previous active display covers with some new tweaks. The LED Cover now incorporates moodlighting and simple notifications into the rear of the cover while the Clear View Cover only offers a single translucent section on the right-hand side with active functions including notifications and the ability to take calls without opening the cover. The new Galaxy Note 10 LED View Cover is just like the one for the Galaxy S10 and includes the ability for users to customize notification icons.
The new Wireless Charger Stand offers up to 15W of wireless Qi charging and incorporates a fan to help keep things cool while maintaining maximum charge levels of between 10W to 15W. It also includes the ability to be powered on and off directly via your Galaxy phone. This feature won’t work with iPhones, for example, which can still be charged with the new wireless charger, but only at a maximum of 7.5W charging speeds. It can, however, be used in landscape or portrait mode regardless of device.
For fans of the Galaxy Note 10 in Australia at least, you can load up on all your favorite accessories well in advance of the device hitting store shelves later this month.
