Samsung has finally begun issuing fixes for the Galaxy S20 FE's touchscreen problems via a software update. It is roughly 174MB in size and is currently rolling out in Europe. A global release should follow suit in the coming days.

Huawei has unveiled its Mate 40 line of smartphones and its latest Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E chips. Crowned the new king of main and selfie cameras, it seems that the Mate 40 Pro is new smartphone to purchase if you are a camera junkie - until DxOMark reviews the Mate 40 Pro Plus or Mate 40 RS, that is.

Huawei has announced a new version of an existing mid-ranger. The Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition is essentially the exact same as the original - with the exception that it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset rather than the Kirin 820 SoC. This means the refreshed variant is still 5G, although it starts for slightly less that the "first" 7 SE.

The Xperia 5 II may not feature a vapour chamber cooling system, but Sony has attempted to keep its latest flagship cool in other ways. Multiple pieces of graphite film should help prevent overheating, while the Xperia 5 II looks simple to repair too.
