With the latest SUPER upgrades from Nvidia joining the company’s extensive lineup of graphics cards, there has been some speculation that the green team could also release a SUPER variant of the top-end GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. Although an Nvidia executive has categorically stated there are no plans to release such a product, it may depend on what AMD has in store.

Performance will be just shy of a $2000 laptop with Intel Core i9 and RTX 2070 Max-Q graphics but for significantly less money. This 17.3-inch Acer Predator desktop replacement throws efficiency out the window for raw power.

The AMD Ryzen 9 3900X was shown to suffer only a nominal performance hit while drawing significantly less power when undervolted to 1.00V. Interestingly, the clock speeds across all tested Vcore voltages remained the same at 4.2 GHz although there were perceivable differences in performance and power draw from the wall at different Vcore values in the Cinebench R20 benchmark.

Everybody was expecting Arcturus to be the high-end version of Navi and a true competitor for Nvidia's RTX 2080 / Ti gaming GPUs, but the latest Linux AMDGPU shader compiler code update suggests that Arcturus is more of a professional GPU in-line with Radeon Instinct. It will most likely be manufactured on the 7 nm EUV node from TSMC and could launch in early 2020.

Intel might have comfortably dominated the PC chip market for the best part of the last decade, but it now looks like it has a real fight on its hands following the launch of AMD's new Zen 2-based chips. According to Danawa Research, an offshoot of one of Asia's largest PC component retailers, AMD's new Ryzen 3000 chips captured more than half of chip sales in Asia just a couple of days after launch.

The AMD Ryzen 7 3800X managed to achieve an impressive 5.9 GHz single-core overclock on LN2. Pro-overclocker 'TSAIK' achieved this on an MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE motherboard and also managed to overclock the DDR4 RAM up to 5,774 MHz. There are no performance numbers yet, but it looks like the Ryzen 7 3800X has very good overclocking potential.

A new Geekbench comparison has been unearthed that appears to give a snapshot of the true performance of the upcoming Intel Core i9-9900KS processor. The chip from the blue team has been measured against a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 3800X once again, and this time it has outshone the competition in both the single and multi-core benchmarks.

A listing of the unannounced AMD Navi 14 has appeared on Compubench that reveals some of the specs of this GPU, which could eventually be christened the RX 5600. The specs indicate that AMD is positioning Navi 14 as a viable alternative for NVIDIA's GTX 1660 series and a possible replacement for Polaris GPUs such as the RX 580.

A Geekbench comparison between an Intel Core i9-9900KS processor and an AMD Ryzen 7 3800X has been shared online showing some surprising results. The Ryzen CPU is soundly defeated in the single-core benchmark test; however, in the multi-core test the 8-core i9-9900KS falls behind its fellow 8-core rival.

The desktop graphics card now has an average G3D mark of 13,616 points, which means it is moving away from the average score produced by Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2060 rival.

The latest market research indicates that its market will grow based on its use in CAD, modelling and 3D animation.

Some Ashes of the Singularity (AotS) benchmark scores have been shared online that seem to show an interesting comparison between AMD and Nvidia products. In the short comparison list offered, out of six challengers the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super reigns supreme in the Crazy 4K test. The graphics card from the green team pumped out a rate of 57 FPS.

Intel has dismissed reports of the company losing its CPU sales market share to AMD in Japan. A new Geekbench score of the 10th gen Intel 'Comet Lake-U' Core i7-10510U has surfaced online. While the new score is definitely higher than what an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H can achieve, it still is on par with the previous gen Whiskey Lake scores. The Core i7-10510U was benchmarked on a Dell XPS 13 7390 indicating that XPS 13s with Comet Lake-U parts could be arriving soon.

The Radeon RX 5700 is inching ever closer to release, but AMD has already reduced prices to stay competitive with NVIDIA and its RTX 20 SUPER series. Good news all round for gaming fans, then.

A UserBenchmark record has been shared online showing the performance of AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 7 3700X processor. The 8-core, 16-thread Zen 2 chip has powered through the speed tests and thrown up an average benchmark score that not only places it equal to the Ryzen Threadripper 2950X but also puts it ahead of Intel’s powerful Core i9-9900X.

The new 4x4 BOX-R1000 is basically the active cooling version of the iBOX-R1000 model launched in April 2019. It comes with a smaller chassis, but the specs are almost the same, except for the supported RAM that has been downgraded from DDR4-3200 to DDR4-2400. Users ca still opt for the AMD Ryzen Embedded R1505G / R1606G dual-core / quad-thread CPUs with Vega 3 iGPUs.

AMD’s Ryzen 5 3600X processor has turned up on UserBenchmark and has amassed excellent scores in the speed tests. The upcoming Zen 2 chip managed to zip past rivals such as Intel’s Core i7-8700K and Core i7-9700K. The impressive performance of the Ryzen 3000 processor means it currently holds 13th position in UserBenchmark’s average bench chart, out of 1,160 entrants.

The arrival of Ryzen Zen 2 this month and beyond inevitably means price cuts for existing AMD CPUs. The Ryzen 7 2700X with a Wraith Prism Cooler originally launched at US$329 and is now being sold by most retailers at US$269.99. However, Microcenter has seemingly jumped the gun on price cuts, having reduced the CPU to just US$199.99. You can even save an additional US$30 if you buy an eligible AM4 motherboard too.

AMD has posted Linux kernel patches for Navi 14 even though the GPU is yet to be officially announced. The company has also updated the Mesa graphics library 19.2 with support for Navi 10 GPUs such as the Radeon RX 5700 and 5700 XT. Vulkan support is yet to arrive for Navi on Linux so we are likely to see only OpenGL Linux benchmarks on launch day.

The new entry-level card will be replacing the WX3100 launched 2 years ago. It comes with the same low-profile, single slot design and a 50 W TDP, but the updated 14 nm Polaris core coupled with 4 GB of GDDR5 VRAM is able to crunch 104 GFLOPs in double precision workloads. It also features four DisplayPort 1.4 connectors which enables support for quad 4K monitor setups.

A Cinebench R15 multi-core score of an overclocked AMD Ryzen 9 3950X has leaked online indicating that the CPU can obliterate literally anything in its way. The result looks to be that of an engineering sample that has been overclocked to 5.42 GHz on liquid nitrogen on an MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE motherboard and is indicative of the improvements brought about by the Zen2 microarchitecture.

A massive OpenCL score has been recorded in a Geekbench database entry based on an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. The system used also sported a ROG Rampage VI Apex motherboard from Asus, Intel’s Core i9-7960X CPU, and 32 GB of RAM. The Geekbench record states a score of 324,481 points for this graphics test.

The GeForce RTX 20 SUPER series are on the horizon, but a set of OpenCL benchmark postings will make for bleak reading for NVIDIA fans. The RTX 2060 SUPER, RTX 2070 SUPER and AMD Radeon RX 5700 have all been tested in the same ASUS ROG RAMPAGE VI APEX motherboard, with the latter coming out on top.

While raw performance is comparable to a Core i5-8300H as designed, the Ryzen 7 3750H offers almost no tangible benefits over the Ryzen 5 3550H. The performance differences are so incredibly minor between the two SKUs that AMD could have just launched with one SKU only to make life simpler.

A benchmark featuring both Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2070 Super and AMD’s Radeon RX 5700 XT has been spotted, and it makes great reading for fans of the green team’s products. The Nvidia Super card is way above the RX 5700 XT in the Final Fantasy XV benchmark; however, it’s believed this particular benchmark is generally weighted in Nvidia’s favor.

The release of the RTX 20 Super series will not coincide with price drops for current RTX 20 Desktop GPUs. Instead, NVIDIA will only keep on the RTX 2060 and RTX 2080 Ti, with the other two SKUs being replaced by their Super successors. RTX 20 Super series cards will start at US$399 and be available from July 9.

The upcoming 12 core and 24 thread Ryzen 9 3900X has posted seriously impressive Geekbench 4.3 and SiSoftware multi-core scores, leaving the Core i9-9900K and even the Threadripper 2950X in its wake. The benchmark results confirm that the CPU will have a 3.8 GHz base clock that it can boost to between 4.51 and 4.54 GHz.

A game benchmark of the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super has leaked online and the card seems to have scored lower about 15% lower than an AMD Radeon 'Navi' RX 5700 XT. The details of the game are not known and this is only one score we have at the moment so we'd advise to take it with a pinch of the proverbial salt.

AMD looks to have sent the Radeon RX 5700 XT to reviewers, with 3DMark benchmark results popping up online. The upcoming 7 nm GPU scored well in Time Spy but fell short of the RTX 2070, probably giving the RTX 2060 Super an edge over AMD's next flagship card too.

Famed leakster TUM_APISAK has revealed what could be the first benchmark leak of the PlayStation 5's AMD 'Gonzalo' APU. The scores appear to indicate a 3DMark Fire Strike run and we see that the PS5 scores 4x higher than the PS4 and is in RTX 2070 territory. The exact score value and benchmark details are still not known.

Intel has lifted the lid on its Xe GPUs, revealing what could be one of its consumer desktop cards, along with specifications and proposed release dates. Hardware raytracing on 7 nm chipsets by 2021, anyone?

It seems yet again a 16-core Matisse processor from AMD has been creating surprise results on Geekbench. This time, a test system featuring a processor labeled as “AMD 100-000000033-01” managed to throw up huge scores in both the single-core test and the multi-core benchmark. A maximum frequency of 5.2 GHz was also measured.

Eight new models were leaked by ASRock, including new Ryzen / PRO and Athlon APUs from the G and GE-series. These feature the Zen+ 12 nm architecture from last year's Ryzen 2000-series, and come with the same Vega iGPUs and TDPs. All new models feature the same core count as the Raven Ridge predecessors, but get a small 100 MHz boost for the base clocks.

Don't count your chickens yet, AMD fans. Frank Azor, the outgoing VP and General Manager of Alienware and XPS at Dell, has cast doubts on his seemingly impending move to AMD. He appears to have made a subtle dig at the company too.

An early review of the much talked about AMD Ryzen 5 3600 more or less confirms all the leaks we've been seeing about this CPU so far. While we do see higher latency, the Ryzen 5 3600 is shown to have posted excellent single-core scores and very good gaming performance surpassing the Ryzen 7 2700X and almost on par with the Intel Core i9-9900K.

A message posted on the Twitter account for PlayStation Latest has made quite a confident claim in regard to the performance power of the PlayStation 5. According to the post, the next-gen console from Sony will outrun its future Xbox rival by 10 to 15%. Unsurprisingly, this kind of comparison has been questioned by genuine industry insiders.

More benchmark information regarding the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 has apparently been spotted, including further UserBenchmark results and an astounding, if hard to believe, single-core score on Cinebench R15. The new UserBenchmark ranking for the Matisse processor puts it on a level close to an Intel i7-8700K, while the new Cinebench result places it above an i5-9600.

A Geekbench listing of the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor has surfaced online and from the looks of it, it appears to have very good single-core performance, much more than the Intel Core i9-9900K. However, the Ryzen 5 3600 benchmark was run under Linux, which generally tends to show higher scores than a Windows run so the scores aren't exactly comparable.

Leaked CPU-Z and Cinebench R15 scores indicate that AMD might have a winner with the Ryzen 5 3600. The Ryzen 5 3600 is shown to offer equivalent or even better multi-core performance than the Intel Core i7-9700K in Cinebench R15, and also seems to offer better single-core performance than the Ryzen 7 2700X. Although they require further validation, the scores are indicative of the performance benefits in store with the 7nm Ryzen 3rd generation processors.
