Images of the ASRock Challenger RX 5500 XT card and the Gigabyte RX 5500 XT Gaming OC and OC cards have been leaked online. The two AIB partners are offering the AMD Navi 14-based graphics card in an overclocked state, with 4 GB and 8 GB model availability. The AMD RX 5500 XT is expected to be launched on December 12.
There has been quite a bit of news about the latest graphics card from AMD, both good and not so good. However, regardless of the speculation and the background of the Navi 14-based RX 5500 XT, we can now have a good look at a few of the variants of the board, thanks to leaked images (see below) of the ASRock Challenger RX 5500 XT, Gigabyte RX 5500 XT Gaming OC, and the Gigabyte RX 5500 XT OC.
It’s clear to see “8 GB” on the box for the ASRock Challenger RX 5500 XT in the images published by VideoCardz. Unsurprisingly, 4.0 PCIe is also highlighted on the packaging, and the board itself is a dual-fan effort. The source states that the card has been overclocked from the reference rate of 1717 MHz to 1737 MHz.
Gigabyte has produced both a dual-fan board and a triple-fan card. The more powerful Gaming OC variant of the Gigabyte RX 5500 XT is the one that comes with the three fans, and it also offers a higher clock than the regular OC board: 1737 MHz vs. 1733 MHz. 4 GB or 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM models will be available for potential buyers to choose from.
