GeIL releases the EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Edition DRAM to the US market
The Phantom Gaming Edition of GeIL's EVO SPEAR long-form-factor DDR4 memory kits is now available on Newegg. This RAM has been developed in partnership with ASRock, and has variants specifically optimized for Ryzen-compatible boards. It has speeds from 2400 to 3200MHz, and comes in 16 or 32GB SKUs.
EVO SPEAR is a line of RAM sticks made by Golden Emperor International Ltd (or GeIL). This company has collaborated with ASRock to make variants that go with the Phantom Gaming series of motherboards. This consists of boards compatible with Intel's Z390 chipsets, as well as their X399 and X570 counterparts from AMD.
This means a user should be able to reliably pair these sticks with a variety of CPUs, Ryzen 3000s included. The Phantom Gaming EVO SPEARs also match their ideal companion boards in that they feature a black heat-spreader placed over a 10-layer PCB. These DDR4 stick are also of the long DIMM variety, meaning they may also be suitable for small-form-factor builds.
GeIL has also stated that the limited lifetime warranty with which the EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Edition launched applies to units sold in the US. They are currently available on newegg.com and start at $US67.99 for a 2x8GB DDR4-3000 kit.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
