GeIL partners with ASRock to make new EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Edition DDR4 memory kits
Golden Emperor International Ltd (GeIL) makes components such as RAM for PC builds. Its most recently-announced product in this category is the EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Edition. This new option in DDR4 memory has, as the name suggests, been developed in collaboration with ASRock.
As such, the new sticks bear the Phantom Gaming trademarks and design language. They are also fully compatible with the Gaming motherboards of the same series. The new EVO SPEARs are of the new, low-profile, long-DIMM form factor, which may confer additional flexibility or case options when contemplating a new PC.
The EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Editions come in SKUs of 4GB to 16GB in capacity, which makes for kits of between 4GB and 64GB kits. They operate at frequencies of 2400, 2666, 3000 or 3200MHz, and at voltages of between 1.2 and 1.35V. They also support single, dual or quad-channel memory, intel XMP 2.0 and have a latency of CL 15~17. The EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Edition memory also has variants that are optimized for AMD's Ryzen platforms.
