AMD has posted a tweet on its Ryzen Twitter account showing what can be done with just one Ryzen Threadripper 1950X HEDT chip and four Radeon RX Vega 64 LC graphics cards. The builder of the custom desktop PC setup has called his system “RippinRed 2.0”, and it also features 32 GB RAM, a motherboard from Gigabyte, and four monitors from Dell and Acer.

AMD has been showing off a system created by seemingly one of the company’s biggest fans. In a tweet on the AMD Ryzen account, members of the red team have stated that the setup in question is “one of the most incredible builds we’ve ever seen.” Looking through the images (see below), it’s clear to see the PC builder spent a lot of time and money creating this desktop system.

Fortunately, the user behind the system shared some details on Reddit. Posting as “RadeonRampage365”, the redditor detailed the build’s specifications. Obviously one of the highlights for fans of AMD hardware was the setup of four XFX Radeon Vega 64 LC (“Liquid Cooled”) graphics card in a tight formation, enabling AMD's CrossFire technology. The CPU part of the system is filled by a Whitehaven Ryzen Threadripper 1950X that chugs along with 16 cores and 32 threads at its disposal. The user mentioned the HEDT processor was overclocked to 4.0 GHz and installed on a Gigabyte Aorus X399 Gaming 7 motherboard.

A total of 32 GB RAM (3200 MHz) from Corsair and a 250 GB Samsung 970 Evo SSD complement the GPU and CPU setup. There’s a 5 TB hard drive from Western Digital for increased storage capability, and an EVGA SuperNova 1600 W PSU has the unenviable duty of trying to power it all. On top of that lot, RadeonRampage365 has three Dell 24-inch monitors sitting beneath a huge 38-inch monitor from Acer for viewing pleasure. It’s a hardcore setup for someone involved in gaming, video-editing, and cryptocurrency mining.
