NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition Review: RTX 3090 performance for less but still a low value proposition

Ti(e)-ing with the 3090. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti arrives as a mid-cycle refresh to supplant the RTX 3080 as the company's fastest gaming GPU nine months after the company first introduced the Ampere architecture. The RTX 3080 Ti sports a slightly cut-down variant of the GA102 GPU that is found in the RTX 3090 with half the VRAM. We take the RTX 3080 Ti FE for a test drive and evaluate how this US$1,199 card stacks up against the RTX 3080 and the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT.

AMD takes a hit in Steam's latest processor usage survey partly thanks to cut-price Intel Comet Lake CPUs

Intel has finally managed to reverse the trend in regard to Steam’s monthly report on processor usage. AMD has taken lumps out of Team Blue’s share for month after month, but the latest hardware survey from the gaming platform indicates that it’s Team Red’s turn to suffer from a slump. Price cuts on Comet Lake processors are likely to have helped turn the tide.
