EVGA recently took the wraps off its upcoming GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN AIB graphics card. EVGA’s liquid cooled KINGPIN lineup has consistently featured some of the fastest and most expensive cards on the market. The GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN looks like it could turn out to be one of the fastest graphics card ever made.

The new 15.6-inch Polaris gaming notebooks feature AMD Renoir or Intel Comet Lake processor options, and users can add up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM plus up to 4 TB of NVMe or SATA III SSD storage. As far as discrete GPU options go, users can only choose between the GTX 1650 Ti and the RTX 2060 Refresh.

Initial 4K benchmarks of the GeForce RTX 3080 have been posted, and things are looking good for NVIDIA's new Ampere architecture. NVIDIA's latest US$699 card can outperform the GeForce RTX 2080 by around 80% in games like Borderlands 3, Control and Doom Eternal, which is a huge leap in one generation.

Nvidia only announced the "vanilla" RTX 3070 models with the official Ampere gaming GPUs reveal, but Lenovo's specs of the upcoming Legion T7/T5 desktop systems clearly show Ti versions with 16 GB and Super variants with 8 GB. This may be a mere miscommunication issue between Nvidia and Lenovo, or it could be that Lenovo is planning to launch refreshed GPUs versions later on.

During the NVIDIA GeForce Ampere RTX 3000 series launch, NVIDIA unveiled benchmarks for the GeForce RTX 3080 which indicate that its claim of a 2x performance improvement wasn’t sleight of hand. Lenovo has announced the launch of the Legion Slim 7i laptop. The Legion Slim 7i offers configuration options up to the Core i9-10980HK and the RTX 2060 Max-Q and is touted to be the lightest 15.6-inch gaming laptop to offer this configuration. The Legion Slim 7i also features the recently introduced Coldfront 2.0 cooling solution and an optional Corsair RGB keyboard with 1.3 mm key travel.

There are two new convertibles from Lenovo for the high-end consumer market: The Lenovo Yoga 9i replaces the Yoga C940 line with a new 14 inch model and a new 15.6 inch model.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is a graphically punishing game; initial benchmarks from several reviews show that the game struggles to hit 60 FPS at 1080p and 1440p, even when running on high-end hardware like the Intel Core i9-9900K and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.

The first sign of the Ampere architecture is here. NVIDIA has certified a new graphics card, model number PG133A, at the RRA in South Korea. The graphics card is expected to be the RTX 3090 Founders Edition, and it may launch as early as September 1.

It is based on the popular TV show Peaky Blinders, and has been up for pre-order until now. Therefore, customers can stream their new title as well as load it on their own PC.

GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's cloud gaming solution that allows access to any titles a user may have acquired regardless of the power of their PC. These possibilities are now officially open to those with Chromebooks, thanks to a new beta. It may allow the app to launch even on these often ultra-light machines.

A new ThinkPad laptop has appeared online: The Lenovo ThinkPad T15g Gen 1 appears to be a variation of the workstation ThinkPad P15 Gen 1. Different from the workstation model, the Lenovo T15g appears to feature Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs, making it a gaming ThinkPad.
