Redmi has affirmed that it will launch its first "gaming phone" in 2021 - perhaps even this month, should the latest rumors prove true. As if to give this idea more weight, a device with its alleged model number is now approved for sale by the Chinese regulator 3C. Its new certificate also suggests it might launch with the same charging tech as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra flagship.

Black Shark 4 Pro and other high-end gaming phones own the March AnTuTu flagship smartphone chart as the Snapdragon 888 removes all competitors

The Black Shark 4 Pro has topped the AnTuTu Android flagship smartphone performance chart for March, with fellow high-end gaming phones the RedMagic 6 Pro and the Asus ROG Phone 5 also prominently placed. The table solely consists of smartphones powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.
