The Huawei P50 allegedly appears in the wild confirming its double-barreled cameras and rear panel finish
Huawei is projected to launch the P50 flagship smartphone series in late July 2021. Currently, its leaks point to a new(ish) design for the devices that might contain 4 or 5 rear camera sensors within dual circular modules. Now, the latest tip on this subject gives these rumors more weight.
It consists of numerous images showing the same device from the back, with close-ups of some details. They include the Huawei logo in one corner, in addition to further legends indicating a comeback of the brand's partnership with Leica that may, moreover, indicate some camera specs (a VARIO-SUMMILUX-H treatment and an 18-240 aspherical lens included).
Then again, the new photos have something earlier renders do not: a new and bright pink colorway that helps the "new" rear cameras really stand out - not the least due to its glitter-ball finish. The overall impression is highly reminiscent of the Honor 50 series, which recently launched in a similar style.
Then again, the leaker responsible for this new tip (DeepReflect on BiliBili; who has not specified where the images have come from) has also indicated that this option might not make it to the final production run - although its upcoming yellow counterpart might.
