The Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro have received their first global updates, along with two Robert Lewandowski-branded watch faces. The updates introduce several changes to the two smartwatches, and a few optimisations.

Last week, Huawei rolled out its inaugural update to the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro, its latest smartwatches and the first running HarmonyOS 2.0. While Huawei restricted this update to the Chinese variant of the pair, the company has now brought a comparable update to global models.

According to Huawei Blog, Huawei has called this update HarmonyOS 2.0.0.155, a slightly higher build number than the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.136 that it released in China. Huawei Blog has shown that the changelog is as follows:

HarmonyOS 2.0.0.155

  • Changes

    • Added skin temperature measuring functionality
    • Added hand gesture recognition
    • Support for more third-party apps

  • Optimisations

    • Improved the display of certain interfaces
    • Optimised system stability in certain situations

HarmonyOS 2.0.0.155 is a 234 MB download and can be installed if your Watch 3 or Watch 3 Pro have at least 20% charge left. You can download the update through the Huawei Health app. Separately, Huawei has added Robert Lewandowski watch faces to both devices. The watch faces feature an RL9 logo and are part of a campaign that Huawei is running in Poland.
