In this review, we have summarized all of our test results and have let the more affordable models have their say. The results are interesting - it's not necessarily always about the flagship devices.

Better with AMD or Intel? After we already tested the ThinkPad T14 G3 with the AMD processor, we now take a look at the version with an Intel Core i7-1260P and dedicated GeForce MX550. Which configuration offers a higher performance and longer battery life? And is the GeForce GPU worthwhile compared to the fast Radeon 680M iGPU?

Thunderbolt 4 in a tiny bottle. The Intel NUC 12 Pro Kit is a tiny but powerful mini PC. Its powerful 12th-Gen Alder Lake Core i5-1240P offers great computing power, although graphics performance is lacking. Like it's bigger brother, perhaps its greatest strength is its excellent port selection, which includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Re-polished. The current incarnation of the Blade 15 still continues to rely on potent Alder Lake and Ampere hardware but also offers an enticing upgrade: Razer has gone for a high-contrast OLED display (QHD) complete with a high refresh rate (240 Hz) and excellent color space coverage.

The main thing is safe. Stable, stowed away easily thanks to the compact 14-inch chassis, and by no means underpowered, the HP ProBook 440 G9 shines with sobriety. It offers necessary equipment for mobile work, leaves plenty of room for expansion, and provides a whole range of security features. Our review shows aspects where the ProBook 440 G9 excels.

Matte touchscreen. The flagship of the B5 Flip is a large, matte 16-inch OLED touchscreen in a work-friendly 16:10 format (3,840 x 2,400 pixels). With Intel's Arc-A350M GPU, a relatively new, so far rarely encountered entry-level graphics core is on board.

Finally with a dGPU The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050-equipped, 2022 LG Gram 17 weighs only 57 grams more than its counterpart - a device which comes without a dedicated graphics card. On top of this, the laptop offers a 12th-generation Intel Core i7 and 32GB of RAM. Despite having more powerful hardware, the battery on offer here lasts longer than its predecessors.

Excellent hardware ... meets a high-quality case in the Asus Chromebook Flip CX5. Hardly any other Chromebook has a more powerful processor or more RAM. The convertible delivers strong performance and is also suitable for gaming, as some tests with Steam games show. Only the price of the CX5 is annoying.

Ryzen 5 6650U or Core i7-1270P? The Core i7-1270P is faster than the Core i5-1240P or Ryzen 5 6650U configurations on paper, but it's a bit more complicated in execution. The short Turbo Boost potential of the model means steeper throttling for the Core i7-1270P when running demanding loads.

Now without a stereo jack. Microsoft is now offering the Surface Pro 9 with either Intel or Qualcomm CPUs. The updated Alder Lake-U processor offers significantly more CPU power and the convertible now supports Wi-Fi 6E, but the stereo jack has been dropped.
