Android 11 on the Xiaomi Mi A1 via ShapeShiftOS: A lackluster, near-stock experience

Those who want a custom ROM for their Xiaomi Mi A1 close to Google's stock offering will probably enjoy ShapeShiftOS. For me, the lack of OTA updating, the stability issues that I bumped into, as well as the rather basic customization options make this piece of code unusable as a daily driver.

Some resellers like XMG are already explicitly listing the TGP values on their upcoming GeForce RTX 30 laptops

PSA | GeForce laptop makers who don't explicitly state their target TGP levels would be withholding vital performance information from potential customers and we're going to start calling them out for it

Although the "Max-Q" marketing term was flawed, it at least helped to differentiate the "slow" GeForce gaming laptops from the "fast" ones. The onus will be on the manufacturers to list their thermal graphics power (TGP) targets in the specifications now that Max-Q is no more.

High power, high noise level. While other manufacturers don't disclose the graphics card's TDP, not only does Schenker list the corresponding value on its homepage, but it even lets customers adjust the TDP via software (at least in the case of the Neo 17). However, at a maximum of 140 watts, the RTX 3070 laptop that we tested produces a hefty amount of noise.
