The main difference between the two is the display resolution: 800p vs. 1200p.

AMD now officially claims that the Ryzen 9 7950X has smashed its way to the top of the Cinebench benchmark's rankings for processors on LN2. The OEM's XOC team has reportedly broken the previous record set using that method of cooling by just over 16% with the new silicon. The group has also released potentially class-leading scores for the 7000-series flagship using a standard liquid cooler.

A powerful run by the Intel Core i9-13900K on PassMark’s desktop CPU single-thread performance chart has signposted an upcoming colossal battle between the Raptor Lake chip and Zen 4’s best: the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X. The i9-13900K took a commanding lead in the chart and was measured reaching up to 5.8 GHz.

Noctua's response to the imminent release of Ryzen 7000 chipsets mostly consists of an updated compatibility list for its heatsinks. Thanks to frequent leaks, we don’t have to wait for an official announcement from Intel to get an idea about the performance of the Raptor Lake chips. Following the lead of the Core i9-13900K and the Core i7-13700KF, the Core i5-13600K has stopped by Geekbench for a set of valid single and multi-threaded tests.

Redmi's latest variation on the G Pro (also known as the RedmiBook Pro) gaming laptop line has been revealed as a 16-inch PC with RTX 3060 graphics for its high refresh rate display. It also features the Ryzen 7 6800H processor and an HDMI 2.1 port, all available to pre-order for just under US$1,100 in China from today (September 7, 2022).

Even though AMD promised USB4 support for the upcoming Zen4-based processors, it looks like this feature could still see very limited availability even on premium AM5 motherboards. As expected, the chip comfortably beats the Core i9-12900K in both workloads and tramples the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and the Ryzen 7 5800X in the multi-core test.

Cinebench R23 numbers for AMD's upcoming Raphael Zen 4 Ryzen 5 7600X and Ryzen 7 7700X have leaked recently. The single-core numbers seem to be on par with the Core i7-12700K with potential for beating even the Core i9-12900K. Multi-core numbers for these processors show decent gains over their predecessors, but Intel seems to have the upper hand here at the moment.

The recent appearance of an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X engineering sample (ES) on UserBenchmark has sparked a series of events that has left the controversial synthetic benchmark taking cheap potshots at Team Red. The Ryzen 5 7600X even managed to outscore a Raptor Lake i9-13900 ES, leading UserBenchmark to label AMD as “Advanced Marketing Devices”.

Dell's Inspiron 15 5515 is a simple office notebook that fulfills its intended purpose, but also leaves quite a bit to be desired. It scores with good battery runtimes under testing, but does not fully utilize the potential of the AMD Ryzen 7 CPU.
