AMD Ryzen 7 6800U-powered GEEK & AYANEO 2 handheld gaming consoles by AYANEO to ship starting in December

Just as expected, the new AYANEO handheld PC gaming consoles are launching via a crowdfunding campaign. Those who hurry to place their orders can take advantage of Super Early Bird and Early Bird deals, with shipments scheduled to kick off in December.

While both the AYANEO GEEK and AYANEO 2 use the same AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor, the first one comes with far less color options and hardware configurations to choose from. According to AYANEO, "the configuration of AYANEO 2 is more high-end, more future technology, due to front bezel-less screen supporting, the overall visual effect is better." 

The list of hardware configurations to choose from starts with 16/512 GB of memory/storage and goes all the way up to 32 GB/2 TB, which is only available for the AYANEO 2. However, this hardware setup is provided via two color choices and each has a different price: US$1,499 for the Sky White, and US$1,599 for the Retro Power design. Thankfully, the Super Early Bird Price deals push the prices above down by US$300. On the other hand, the cheapest configurations only get a US$150 discount (US$799 from US$949 for the 16/512 GB AYANEO GEEK and US$949 from US$1,099 for the 16/512 GB AYANEO 2).

The Indiegogo campaign pages for the AYANEO GEEK and AYANEO 2 are not up yet, but those interested can grab the fully funded AYANEO AIR for a small discount from this page or from Amazon (see the link below).
