A TV advert for a new Logitech gaming headset appears to show a previously unavailable version of the Xbox Series X. Unacknowledged by the company, the unreleased model may have been received as part of Logitech's close collaboration with Microsoft. It remains to be seen whether Microsoft plans to release the Xbox Series X model shown, though.

To date, Microsoft offers the Xbox Series X in one standard colour, as well as in a few special edition liveries. However, a recent Logitech advert for the new Astro A30 gaming headset suggests that Microsoft has developed a second colour. As the image above highlights, Logitech has pictured the Xbox Series X in white, an unreleased option even for special edition models.

Conceivably, Logitech skinned a regular black edition to suit its advert. However, all other products appear to be standard, so it would be rather strange for Logitech to customise such a recognisable device just for an advert. Potentially, Logitech received an early white unit to suit the aesthetics of its advert; the company could have used a Series S for the same effect, though.

Ultimately, this would not be the first time that an Xbox console has leaked in this manner. For example, the Series S and its controller surfaced months before their official introduction. We would not rule out this white model being a special edition version, either. Presumably, Microsoft will announce something within the next few months, although it is unclear when that will be the case. Until then, third-party companies like Dbrand and Xtremeskins are on hand to customise a regular Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, there is no sign of Microsoft offering custom Series X plates, as Sony now does for the PlayStation 5.
