Microsoft celebrates Porsche's 75th anniversary by giving away 75 limited-edition Xbox Series X consoles
While Xbox didn't have much in the way of games to show off at Summer Game Fest, it did unveil a rather peculiar piece of hardware. Then again, Microsoft is probably saving the good stuff for Xbox Games Showcase plus Starfield Direct on June 11. To celebrate Porsche's 75th anniversary, it has teamed up with the automaker to give away 75 Porsche-themed limited edition Xbox Series X consoles.
Unfortunately, there is no way to buy the said console, which is said to have been inspired by the iconic Porsche 963. The only way to get your hand on the heavily-customised Xbox Series X and the controller is to enter a raffle, which is a bit disappointing, as it would have made a fine addition to many Forza Horizon 5 enthusiasts' repertoire.
Only legal residents of the continental United States, UK, and Germany are eligible to participate. Qualifying gamers can submit their entry on Porsche and Xbox's dedicated webpage between now and October 1. There appear to be other Xbox Series X designs, likely based on other iconic Porsche cars.
