Microsoft has finally provided more details about the Xbox "Mini Fridge", or Xbox Series X Replica Mini Fridge Thermoelectric Cooler for its full name. Unveiled in June, the Xbox "Mini Fridge" can hold ten cans and has a USB port for recharging a smartphone. Microsoft has not confirmed what size of cans it is referring to, but its YouTube video implies that they are 12 oz (~330 ml) ones.
Naturally, you could use the mini fridge to store food, for which it has two built-in shelves. Microsoft has not stated the fridge's capacity though, nor its power consumption or its size. Presumably, the mini fridge will be about the same size as an Xbox Series X.
Microsoft states that the Xbox "Mini Fridge" will be available to order in France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, Poland, the US and UK from October 19. The mini fridge will also make it to other markets in 2022, 'pending regulatory approvals and restrictions'. Microsoft has not elaborated on where it hopes to expand Xbox "Mini Fridge" availability to though, beyond Canada in December.
The Xbox "Mini Fridge" will be available to order from the following retailers, but there will be broader availability in December.
- Europe: Game Stop EU, Micromania, Toynk - €99
- UK: Game - £89.99
- US: Target - US$99.99
