The iconic Xbox 360 game Alan Wake (from US$29 on Amazon) from 2010 will be remastered. According to numerous corresponding reports, Remedy Entertainment has officially announced Alan Wake Remastered after according rumors had already suggested that the classic game would receive a remake. The psycho thriller, in which the author Alan Wake is searching for his missing wife in the Pacific Northwest, will be visually upgraded with 4k visuals and will provide a vastly improved experience in comparison to the original.
The expansions "The Signal" and "The Writer" are included in Alan Wake Remastered, and there will be a function that allows listening to the commentaries by the game's director. Unfortunately, the standalone spinoff "Alan Wake’s American Nightmare" will not be part of the remaster. Nevertheless, gamers should be excited for the return of Alan Wake, especially because PS4 and PS5 gamers will be able to experience the exciting horror game for the very first time.
Of course Alan Wake Remastered will also be released on Xbox Series consoles as well as the PC, where it will apparently be exclusively offered on the Epic Games Store. Even though the development of the Alan Wake remake is almost completed, no official release date has been announced for Alan Wake Remastered, but it is expected to be released this fall.
