Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Watch 2 Lite, its third smartwatch this week. The Redmi Watch 2 has plenty going for it, including a SpO2 sensor, a GPS module and a large battery. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite will be available in six colours.

The top-end Galaxy Z Fold3 phablet has become eligible for the latest version of Samsung's One UI, as has the Galaxy Z Flip3 clamshell foldable phone. Users of either high-end device in the OEM's native South Korea can now download their first betas of the latest 4.0 version of this software, which upgrades the devices to Android 12 and its newest features.

Sony has reported total revenues of ~2.4 trillion yen (~US$20.8 billion) for its latest fiscal quarter (the second of 2021, or 2FQ2021). Two MacBook Pro 16 laptops containing two different variants of new Apple Silicon have been put through a massive battery of benchmark tests with some surprising results. The M1 Pro with 16-core GPU was pitted against the M1 Max with 32-core GPU, with the laptops featuring a US$1,200 price difference. The M1 Pro proved itself to be more than capable.

A Twitter user managed to get his hands on the JioPhone Next's retail box. It confirms many of the phone's key specs, such as a 5.7-inch HD+ screen, Qualcomm 215 SoC, 3GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and a 3,500mAh battery. Industry insider Christopher Dring has heard that Microsoft plans on making more Xbox Series X consoles available to the public this holiday season. The restock comes right before Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite will be launched on the platform.
