The F-series consists of regular SKUs that have the iGPUs disabled due to production line malfunctions, so they practically are Intel's equivalent to AMD's desktop Ryzen CPUs. Their CPU performance should be identical to non-F models, but each iGPU-less processor is expected to be at least US$25 cheaper than the non-F counterparts.

A Korean RRA certificate has been unearthed that could have been made for AMD’s Big Navi graphics solution. The certification date is for February 19 and has been made for a video card model with the number D32310. If this is the vaunted “Nvidia killer” GPU, then it’s possible it could be revealed at AMD’s Financial Analyst Day on March 5.

Bethesda has finally announced when Fallout 76 players will receive Wastelanders, a free expansion for the game. The post-apocalyptic title will be extended on April 7 for all platforms, with the expansion featuring a host of new content. Today (February 4, 2020) Samsung has unveiled its latest memory solution for the high-performance computing (HPC) market. It is a form of state-of-the-art high bandwidth memory 2E (HBM2E) with 16GB of capacity per chip. This doubles the specification of its previous generation, and is owed to its new DRAM die layout.

Until we get a comparison between the Intel DG1, Nvidia GTX 1650 and AMD's Radeon RX 570, the comparison with the iGPUs from laptop-grade processors will have to suffice. Of course the DG1 is dominating the graphics tests by a substantial margin, but the physics tests reveal quite a different story.

While the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X might not be a pure 1:1 competitor for the Intel i9-10900K, their similar price tier is quite enough to prompt a comparison in this case. The most important difference between the two CPUs is the core count and the boost clocks, and the latter is supposed to have a greater impact on the scores, but this is not particularly evident in the latest 3DMark scores.

Fancy a new graphics card? Well, AMD is looking to tempt people in with up to three games and 3 months of Xbox Game Pass for PC with Radeon RX 5000 series purchases. The RX 5500 XT, RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT are included in the offer, as are older cards like the Radeon VII, along with the RX 500 and RX Vega series.

Geekbench is the latest synthetic benchmark to experience the processing power of AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper 3990X, with the 64-core monster tearing the multi-core test to shreds. However, the incredible score of 22,045 points still left it trailing its Castle Peak brethren, the Threadripper 3970X, and the Intel workstation processor Xeon W-3175X.

The Core i9-10900K has popped-up on 3DMark indicating a 10-core 20-thread configuration with a base clock of 3.7 GHz and a boost clock of 5.1 GHz. Although the listing does not specify any other details, we do know that the 10th generation 10900K will be a 125W chip and require a new LGA 1200 socket.

The GPU Technology Conference (or GTC) 2020 has been set to begin on March 23 of this year. It will open with a keynote from NVIDIA's CEO and founder, Jensen Huang. An engineering sample of an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X has turned up on UserBenchmark and offered up huge scores that still have room for improvement. The 64-core part was a component in a system that also featured the Prime TRX40-Pro motherboard from Asus and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. Unsurprisingly, the measured 64-core score was massive.

SEGA Europe has pledged to use nothing but recyclables in the original packaging for its hard-copy products in the future. The upcoming KaiXian KX-6780A octa-core CPUs should be launched this March, but they will only be available as part of pre-built budget gaming systems, as the chips themselves are soldered and require special motherboards. The official AMD site does not provide exact specs for the new Pro 500 chipsets, but it looks like Lenovo already plans to release some IdeaCentre ThinkCentre models that integrate a Pro 560 chipset. Intel could be accelerating the launch of Comet Lake-H and Comet Lake-S CPUs to March this year to counter AMD's launch of Renoir Ryzen 4000 APUs around the same time. As per reports, a reduced pricing is also on the cards. The question, however, still remains. Will an early launch period help with Intel's fortunes against AMD's 7nm onslaught?

Rumor has it that GlobalFoundries could offload some of the low-power Intel CPUs, including Celeron Pentium and possibly Core i3 models in order to help with the ever-increasing demand for mid-range and high-end Intel CPUs. Corsair has revealed a couple of new AMD-powered gaming PCs to its lineup. The Vengeance 6180 and Vengeance 6182 both feature a Ryzen 3000 series CPU in the form of the 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X while graphics processing is carried out by the Navi-based Radeon RX 5700 XT GPU. iMacs of the future could be made entirely of a single sheet of curved glass, if a recent Apple patent is anything to go by. According to the patent, the iMac could have a radical design overhaul with a foldable glass keyboard deck, dual trackpads, and more. LG did the unexpected a few weeks ago by releasing Android 10 for the V50 ThinQ early, but it seems that LG UX 9.0 offers more than we had initially thought. The update brings Samsung Dex and Huawei Desktop Mode-like functionality to the V50 ThinQ, which is a welcome bonus.

The new ROG Bezel-Free Kit (ABF01) is designed to be placed at the corners of one of more monitors to create an optical illusion to make it seem as though the bezels disappear as if by magic.

ChargeLabs has designed the HyperDisk to be a tiny external drive housing super-fast memory. This OEM claims that it has read-speeds of up to 960 megabytes per second (MB/s) and write-speeds of 920MB/s. It comes in 512GB, 1TB and 2TB SKUs, and has attracted over US$600,000 of crowd-funded backing.
