For your day-to-day activities. With the 250 G9, HP is offering a reasonably-priced 15.6-inch office laptop equipped with an Intel Core i3 processor and a matte IPS display - all of which can be had for around $390. The device's performance is sufficient for basic tasks but the fan quickly gets annoying.

More affordable and almost as good. If the Xiaomi 13 proves to be too expensive for your budget, consider exploring the more affordable Xiaomi 13T. It is similarly well-equipped and closely rivals the flagship in terms of performance. With a 6.67-inch display, the device features a remarkably bright AMOLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate, complemented by a triple camera system enhanced by Leica, featuring 2x optical zoom. Additionally, the Xiaomi 13T offers an impressive 5-year update support.

Plenty of space and lots of pixels. The Cubot P80 boasts up to 512 GB of mass storage, and the phone doesn't even cost $200. That sounds almost too good to be true, so our test aims to determine whether savings were made elsewhere and how the Cubot phone performs in everyday use.

Ex-Toshiba portable memory. The Kioxia Exceria Plus external SSD boasts transfer rates of up to 1,000 MB/s via USB 3.2. It comes in 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities. We put the medium edition through its paces on a Windows PC, Mac, and Android smartphone. It is also compatible with the PS4 and 5, as well as the Xbox. Could it be used for gaming storage as well, or just data storage?

Powerful and future-proof! Minisforum's EliteMini UM780 XTX is a very specialized mini PC which features great performance and connectivity options. Visually, the device may be a little more divisive but all-in-all, everything fits together well. In this review, we have analyzed and summarized what the mini PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS can do.

Crisis of conscience. The Fairphone 5 aspires to be the most sustainable and modular smartphone on the market, produced under the fairest possible conditions. Despite its focus on sustainability, it aims to provide a modern user experience and receive updates for at least eight years. Our test will assess how well this concept is executed.

Plastic with aluminum look. For around ~US$1300, Medion offers a gaming laptop with an i5-12500H, RTX 4050, Full HD display, and 16 GB RAM. That's a good price, even if it's not the cheapest for this hardware combination. We have tested whether the Crawler E40 is suitable as a budget gaming laptop.

Top shape. Quality smartwatches don't always come with a hefty price tag, as demonstrated by Amazfit with the Active watch. Nevertheless, the smartwatch scored highly on our test. It offers extensive measurements and even includes AI features. The Amazfit Active also features a voice assistant, satellite connection for training navigation, and the ability to make calls.

Core i7 throttling could use some work. The C315 Blitz swaps out the older 11th gen Core i7 H-series processor for a newer 13th gen Core i7 P-series option. However, the change is more like a sideways step than a leap forward in terms of performance.

Extravagant. The Motorsport Edition is a specially designed version of the Stealth 16 for Mercedes-AMG fans. We carefully evaluated this 16-inch gaming laptop and delved into the key differences compared to the standard version.

More space to work. The Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G6 is a 16-inch multimedia laptop with an IPS display and an AMD Ryzen 7000 processor. At a price of US$900, you will surely have to make quite a few compromises but even so, it boasts a good keyboard and long runtimes.

The Mini IT12, a multi-talent? The Geekom Mini IT12 follows the well-known Intel NUC design. Equipped with a mobile Intel Alder Lake SoC featuring 8 cores and 12 threads, we thoroughly examined its performance in this test to determine if it can outshine the previous class-leading Intel. Thanks to two USB 4 interfaces, we delved into its gaming capabilities when paired with an external GPU.

Diamond in the rough. AMD knocked it out of the park with its Ryzen series of mobile CPUs, but there's no question that its discrete mobile GPUs have been falling behind. The Radeon RX 7900M rights the ship by being just as powerful as the mobile RTX 4080 for hundreds of dollars less.

Second choice. Samsung is introducing a fan edition of the Galaxy Tab S9, called the Galaxy Tab S9 FE. With this move, Samsung aims to bridge the gap between its flagship models and the more budget-friendly A-series. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE foregoes OLED technology and Snapdragon processing power but comes with a more affordable price tag. We explored for whom this cost-effective option is more suitable.

Extreme battery life. The basic version of the new MacBook Pro 16 is equipped with the full version of the Apple M3 Pro, although it doesn't offer much performance compared to the M2 Pro. On the other hand, the entry-level SSD has become faster again, and the maximum SDR brightness gets increased too. In addition, power efficiency improvements allow for an extremely long battery life.

The fin is back! For the first time, Samsung is releasing a fan version of its in-ear headphones, the Galaxy Buds FE. They have a rich sound and active noise cancellation. Find out more in this review.

Good streaming client! Last year, Geekom brought out a new Special Edition of its MiniAir 11. In doing so, however, the manufacturer didn't give it a new SoC — this isn't the case on the MiniAir 12. Its Intel Celeron has been replaced with a newer Intel N100. This should give the Geekom MiniAir12 a performance boost. We have taken a closer look at the device and have analyzed its benchmarks.

Lightweight distance runner. The Teclast T40 Air is a relatively slim 10.36-inch tablet that doesn't weigh that much. Strictly business. The ThinkPad T14s G4 includes over 4 different CPUs and 6 different display options to choose from. After checking out a handful of them, we now have a good idea of which to recommend and which to avoid.

Unique and useful charging solutions. UGREEN recently launched a few new chargers. Among them are a handy and versatile charging station with a MagSafe-compatible platform and a USB-C charger designed to look like a tiny robot. In this hands-on, we will check out the features and charging capabilities of both products.

Laser on the go. Despite looking like and being as small as a Bluetooth speaker à la JBL Charge, the Nebula Capsule 3 Laser is a fully fledged projector that costs roughly €850 (US$930). It is equipped with a Bluetooth speaker and, much like a Bluetooth speaker, is powered by a battery so that you can use it on the go. We have tested out the device to see how well it works and how long it lasts on a single charge.

Technically average. In association with EA, the British firm Codemasters, known for the F1, Dirt, and Grit series among others, has released a brand-new racing game. We reviewed the WRC hardware specifications in further detail.

Not just an accessory. The FreeBuds Pro models are Huawei's premium in-ears which impress with their first-class sound, good telephone features, strong ANC and lots more. During our test, the earbuds presented themselves as successful advancements — however, they couldn't fully take advantage of every one of their strengths.

Mobile powerhouse. Apple puts its new high-end chip M3 Max into the compact MacBook Pro 14 and the result is the fastest 14-inch laptop you can buy in terms of CPU performance. However, this is also a big challenge for the cooling and the performance is not completely stable.

AMD, Nvidia or maybe Intel after all? Intel's second-fastest Arc series graphics card can currently be found for under US$300. In this review, we will be taking a look at whether its AMD and Nvidia competitors can hold up. We will also be analyzing the graphics card's general performance when playing current games.

A big 2-in-1. Externally unchanged, at least the new LG Gram 2-in-1 offers up-to-date hardware when it comes to the internals. In our review device, the Intel Core i7 shows that it's capable of high performance, even in a lightweight form factor. However, in 2023, LG still hasn't managed to eliminate the device's other weak points.

A colorful world of books. The Note Air 3 C from Onyx Boox is an e-ink tablet that is suitable as a reader and also works with Android apps, allowing you to expand its functionality. We take a closer look at the qualities and possible disadvantages in the test.

Would you like a little more? Mobile power stations are hip: they can be used as a mobile energy storage device for on the go, as a backup solution for your home or as battery, for example in combination with a PV system. The BP2000 from Oukitel is characterized above all by its modularity: The basic system can be expanded with up to 7 additional batteries with a total capacity of more than 16 kWh.

Long lasting. The Pixel 8 is an all-round improved smartphone compared to its predecessor. The newcomer not only benefits from the bright 120 Hz display and a fingerprint reader that finally works - the biggest innovation is the extra long update support until 2030.

Keyless. The Smart Lock Touch41 from Welock can be opened via fingerprint, RFID card or your smartphone. The lock replaces the existing cylinder and makes do without the need for a key. We have tested how well the lock performs in everyday use, including what happens during a power cut and who can unlock it.

Efficient streaming client! To satisfy the requirements, streaming clients or compact office devices don't need to have a lot of power. The Trigkey is a relatively modern mini PC with an Intel N100 CPU for less than $200 USD. Yet, it is important to remember that DDR4 RAM is included. High-quality waste-laptop. The Acer Aspire Vero 15 surprises not only with a QHD camera, long runtimes and high performance, but it also features a robust and attractive design, good input devices and a bright, colorful display. Furthermore, the office laptop never gets too loud and depending on the model you choose, the price is right, too.

A mini PC with a small gimmick! With the S1, Acemagic has a compact PC in its portfolio that is suitable for straightforward, everyday office use with the Intel N95 providing a good foundation. Acemagic's imaginative ideas often help it stand out from the crowd in terms of design and functionality. This also goes for the S1 which has a display built into the front. Read on to discover how well the device holds up in our review.

Master of endurance. The Lenovo Tab M10 5G could offer a bit more performance, especially when compared to its rivals. But if you're okay with mid-range power and appreciate occasional charging in addition to a 90 Hz display without PWM, this tablet could be the one for you. We will take a closer look at the tablet's strengths and weaknesses during this test.

Major efficiency gains. Last year's Core i7-12700H was fast, but the switch to Zen 4 has done wonders to battery life and efficiency without needing to sacrifice performance. The OLED display, fast integrated GPU, and affordable starting prices make the Pavilion Plus 14 a great option for students and most casual editors.

The series' lowest point despite its attractive visuals? Currently, review platforms like Metacritic are being bombarded with negative comments about the new Call of Duty iteration. Aside from the game's scope (DLC content for the price of a full game) being criticized, people also aren't saying the best things about its campaign (missions, story, etc). We have primarily taken a closer look at this new release's tech.

Possibly reference-grade. The Ninebot KickScooter Max G2 is one of the latest e-scooters from Ninebot/Segway and has a starting price of around €800 (US$857). For that amount of money, you are getting a 551 Wh battery, which should provide a range of up to 70 km (44 mi), a powerful 450 W motor, hydraulic suspension at the front and back, and 10-inch wheels.

The brakes are off: The laptop with that special edge is back. In the new 18 mm thin Zenbook, Asus has installed extremely powerful hardware and finally lets it off the leash. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 in our test unit has up to 140 watts at its disposal and is thus in no way inferior to its siblings in many gaming laptops.

The first 3 nm chip is here. Apple's new M3 SoC is the first chip to be manufactured in a 3 nm process. We've already seen the performance increases in our review of the new MacBook Pro 14, but what about the efficiency of the processor and the graphics card? Power galore! AMD and Intel are currently competing not only for the consumer performance crown but also for the workstation category. Vivid viewing, middling speeds. The 2023 Asus VivoBook Pro 16 comes across as a capable choice for budding content creators seeking a well-rounded laptop. The combination of a Core i9-13900H, RTX 4050, and the vibrant 3.2K 120 Hz OLED panel indicates good potential, but our review discovers that the VivoBook Pro 16's artistic aspirations are not without limitations.

Powerfully mobile. High performance and long battery life at the same time. Compactly built and well equipped at the same time. The Asus ExpertBook B9 achieves the feat of being a laptop without any notable weaknesses. More so as the equipment leaves hardly anything to be desired - for a price.

Only minor advantages over Ryzen U series. The NucBox M3 isn't slow, but the poor performance-per-watt of the Core i5-12450H compares unfavorably to U-series alternatives which can offer similar performance levels with much smaller power budgets.

Massive CPU upgrade. The MacBook Pro 16 gets a massive performance boost thanks to the new M3 Max SoC and besides a more powerful GPU, the CPU offers the biggest gains. The SDR brightness of the 16-inch Mini-LED screen was increased as well. We review the high-end MacBook in the new Space Black color.

Impressive AI. This year, the Google Pixel 8 Pro shows improvements in many places, particularly with some overall optimizations of the cameras. But the secret highlight are the many new AI features of the smartphone and the seven years of guaranteed updates. Find out everything in our test.

Mid-range gamer with an entry-level GPU. The gaming laptop Predator Helios Neo 16 from Acer is supposedly a cheaper alternative to the regular Helios 16, while still offering a variety of mid-range features, such as an extremely robust and sleek case, lots of connectivity options, a desktop-class CPU, as well as a powerful cooling system which makes use of liquid metal. In this review, you can find out whether this concept is a success.

Lightweight 64 GB RAM. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon G11 is the first model of this line with up to 64 GB of RAM. To get this amount of RAM, users have to buy a version with the most powerful P28-CPU, the i7-1370P. Unfortunately, as our review shows, this CPU is ill-suited for this elegant business laptop.

Intel NUC performance without the NUC price. The Ryzen 5560U may be a couple years old, but it performs so similarly to the new Ryzen 5 7530U that most users would be unable to tell the difference especially for basic HTPC purposes. The SER5 is quite the bargain for just $230 USD complete with Windows 11.

Almost perfect. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, up to 16 GB of RAM and a 6x camera, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 clearly belongs to the high-end smartphone class, but is still comparatively well-priced. Officially, the 8.03-inch AMOLED foldable is reserved for the Chinese market, which also affects mobile phone coverage. Our review clarifies whether an import purchase is worth it.

Debut for Apple's M3 SoC. Apple launched its new MacBook Pro models and the old MacBook Pro 13 is not longer available. Instead, there is a new entry-level model of the MacBook Pro 14 with the base M3-SoC and 8 GB RAM for $1599. However, there are some compromises, especially in terms of connectivity as well as the cooling performance.

Almost a total success. Lenovo's Legion Slim 7 is a stylish and light 16-inch gaming laptop. Find out how the AMD version compares to the Intel rival during our test.

Handy and robust. If you are looking for a smartphone that can be easily stowed in your pocket and at the same time defies the forces of nature, you should get to know the Blackview N6000. In this test, we take a closer look at the small outdoor phone.

Finally USB, but only slow. Not only does the iPhone 15 Plus offer a large display, but it also gets the Dynamic Island for the first time this year. In addition, there is a higher resolution main camera, a slightly more powerful battery, more computing power, and USB-C. All that, Apple tops with a slightly lower price than last year.

OLED office. The Swift Go 14 boasts a low weight (1.3 kg), an aluminum case and an OLED screen (2,880 x 1,800 pixels, 90 Hz) with a work-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the laptop features two USB 4 ports, a QHD webcam and an attractive price (US$800).

Compact gaming PC! Compact mini PCs with dedicated graphics cards aren't all too widespread at the moment. Nevertheless, Minisforum's Neptune Series HX77G is a compact mini PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS and an AMD Radeon RX 6600M. We have taken a closer look at this device and have analyzed its performance with the help of a variety of benchmarks and current games.

Business on a budget. If you're not excited about spending thousands of dollars on a fancy ThinkPad X1 Carbon, then the more down-to-Earth ThinkPad E16 G1 might be worthwhile. Just make sure to choose the correct display, battery, and CPU option.

Robust Rolex replacement. The bulky Oukitel WP30 Pro is also suitable for very difficult environments, lasts for a long time, and can even see in the dark with its camera. Another special feature is the second touchscreen on the back. Is the outdoor phone just unusual or also usable in everyday life?

Slim and colorful. The Moto G84 costs about US$320. It features a bright OLED screen within a compact and relatively lightweight case. However, its mid-range competition is rife, which begs the question: Is the Motorola Moto G84 worth purchasing?

AMD & IPS beats Intel & OLED. We've already reviewed the current ThinkPad T14s G4 with the Intel processor and high-resolution OLED panel, and now we have the AMD model with the Ryzen 7 7840U and low-power IPS display. In addition to significantly more performance, the good battery life is particularly impressive.

Can the Core i7-1355U beat a Ryzen 5 7530? The ThinkPad L13 Yoga G4 comes with both Intel and AMD options. Intel offers better single-thread performance and Thunderbolt support as expected, but expect louder fans and shorter runtimes than the AMD alternative.

Graphics gobbler. Alan Wake 2, released over ten years after the first part, is the sequel to the successful psycho-thriller from Remedy Entertainment. This time, players don't just get a detective horror story — they are also met with horrendous hardware requirements.

Stainless steel. Along with the Galaxy Watch6, Samsung brings back the Classic model with a rotating bezel, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic. It features a stainless steel casing and is larger. The siblings are quite similar beneath the surface. This year's gadgets are distinguished mostly by their screens.

Smart buy. The Motorola Moto G54 shows that you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a good, well-rounded smartphone suitable for everyday tasks. The 6.5-inch smartphone from Motorola scores with a fast 120-Hz IPS display, a surprisingly good 50 MP camera, 5G including eSIM, and 256 GB of storage. Alien vs Predator? The 18-inch Predator Helios 18 is a true desktop replacement, particularly for gamers and creatives. This is ensured by the very bright MiniLED display in addition to the RTX 4080 and the strong i9-13900HX. A good alternative? The two big players, Nvidia and AMD, often represent the first choice in the gaming industry. But for about a year now, Intel also has been playing a role in the area of the dedicated desktop GPUs. In this review, we evaluate the performance capabilities of the Acer Predator BiFrost Arc A770 OC on the basis of the current drivers. With 16 GB of VRAM, Intel isn't stingy, and their price also makes the models of the Arc series very attractive.

A sensory delight in Pantone colors. Motorola's Edge 40 Neo brings features which would normally be seen on more expensive phones into the mid-range market: The smartphone is water-resistant, 6-GHz WLAN enabled and it features fast UFS 3.1 storage. Small size, big CPU. If you want to maximize processor performance while minimizing form factor, then the OptiPlex Micro Plus 7010 has you covered. It runs a bit hot to say the least, but that is arguably preferable over any extreme throttling measures.

Another side of the transparent power storage trend? Sharge touts its latest accessory as its "coolest powerbank" yet "with unparalleled charging". Its updated cyber-chic chassis is rated for output and input wattages of 140W each, and to support bi-directional charging on top of that. Can its real-world performance match its Kickstarter hype?

Harmonious. According to Schenker, the XMG Pro 16 Studio is a "professional workstation for content creation". The specs fit: Core i9, an RTX 4070, Thunderbolt 4 and a 16:10 display (QHD+, 240 Hz). A vapor chamber supposedly ensures optimum heat dissipation and quiet cooling.

USB commitment. The iPhone 15 Pro aims to uphold Apple's longstanding tradition of delivering high-quality smartphones. Its key innovations in 2023 include a body infused with titanium, the introduction of a USB-C port, and the integration of a new gaming GPU. Our test evaluates whether Apple has successfully crafted another "excellent" smartphone.

Operating on the edge. This budget gaming notebook from Gigabyte features an Alder Lake processor and an Ada Lovelace GPU. It also has a PCIe 4.0 SSD (512 GB), 16 GB of RAM and an FHD panel (144Hz), but Windows doesn’t come preinstalled. One serious drawback: the included charger can sometimes be overloaded by the laptop.

Debut for the RTX 2000 Ada. Lenovo no longer offers the ThinkPad X1 Extreme. Instead, the identically built ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 takes over the tasks as a powerful multimedia computer or mobile workstation from now on. We tested the new ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 with the professional Nvidia RTX 2000 GPU and the matte IPS panel with a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

Gaming dwarf. The Ayaneo Air 1S is so small that it probably fits in most pockets. Nevertheless, the Asian manufacturer manages to pack more than enough computing power for the latest titles from our Steam library into the small case with a 5.5-inch OLED display.

A Cyberpunk cassette-styled home server. The ZimaBlade single-board computer (SBC) aims to continue where its predecessor, the ZimaBoard, left off, by making it as easy as possible for any consumer to get to know all about home servers and simultaneously offer extremely inviting and multifaceted hardware for enthusiasts looking to tinker and experiment. We test whether this works and also look at which benefits the Zimaboard offers.

Off to Egypt. The established Total War series has received a new spin-off: Pharao. Thanks to its integrated benchmark, the game is well-suited for our performance test. We have tested multiple laptop and desktop GPUs to see how well they can run the game.

Modern SoC and lots of plastic! Based on the Intel Core i5-12450H, the NiPoGi CK10 aims to woo buyers. At first glance, it seems promising, as the Alder Lake SoC offers 8 cores, after all. However, with a limited power target, the processor wasn't capable of showing all it could've done. Amp look. The established manufacturer Marshall has released its Motif II A.N.C. earbuds for stylish rock enthusiasts. According to the manufacturer, their ANC has been improved in particular. Can these earbuds really deliver the sound Marshall is known for? We have put them to the test!

Subtle upgrade. The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 features a large range of applications, a new CPU, and different sensors thanks to WearOS. Is AMD's Cezanne still fast enough? Design-wise, the Geekom A5 is similar to the well-known Intel NUC mini PCs which are nowadays marketed by Asus. Although an 8-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is at work under the hood, the SoC no longer belongs to the newest models on the market. We have analysed the Geekom A5's performance to see if it is currently still worth your money.

6W 12th gen Alder Lake-N CPU. The N100 is a decent upgrade over an old Celeron or Atom while keeping costs under US$200, but it's barely any better than the N95 if you're looking for even more affordable alternatives.

Potential for improvement. ProBook, EliteBook, ZBook: Keeping track of HP's model range is increasingly difficult. With the ProBook 445 G10, we test one of the manufacturer's cheaper AMD-based office laptops with a surprisingly bright display.

Demanding Souls-like game. Following Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen is the second game released in a short space of time that is hugely reminiscent of FromSoftware games. We have taken a closer look at how hardware-hungry the new release is.
