John Prendergast calculated that the CPU part of the APU integrated in the next gen consoles may not be too impressive, because the TDPs need to be kept under 200 W. Thus, we are looking at performance levels in line with an older Ryzen 5 1600 model with a 40 W TDP. The GPU parts will get TDPs in excess of 100 W, on the other hand.

It is said that only 200 of these prototypes were made, and only one survived throughout the years. This fabled unicorn is now up for auction and could end up fetching upwards of US$2 million.

Leaked PlayStation 5 icon reveals questionable design surprise

A photo of an alleged PlayStation 5 icon that supposedly appeared on the official Sony PlayStation Japan website has been leaked online – and if it is genuine its appearance could be something of a major surprise. While it is generally maintained that consumer market consoles look vastly different from their devkit counterparts, the icon suggests the PS5 will retain a V-shaped design.

PlayStation 5 killer? Nvidia GeForce Now's Intel CC150 CPU and RTX T10-8 GPU tested on Geekbench and Ashes of the Singularity

Nvidia’s GeForce Now service has been spotted running tests on both Geekbench and Ashes of the Singularity. Although the results themselves are hardly mind-blowing, the Geekbench OpenCL score should give prospective PlayStation 5 buyers food for thought when considering the advantages of a cloud gaming service over console hardware.
