A renowned leaker has revealed how much two of Sony's 30th-anniversary devices will cost. While the DualSense 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Wireless Controller will cost as much as equivalent limited edition DualSense controllers, the same cannot be said for the PS5 Slim Digital Edition 30th anniversary edition.

The PlayStation brand is nearing its 30th birthday, having debuted in December 1994. It is worth noting that this birthday only applies to the original PlayStation's Japanese release. By contrast, Sony waited until September 1995 before offering its first console in North America and Europe. Added to that, many other markets officially received the PlayStation between late 1995 and late 1997.

Nonetheless, Sony announced 30th-anniversary versions of various current-generation products last week, full details of which we have covered separately. In summary, the company's 30th anniversary plans extend to the forthcoming PlayStation 5 Pro (PS5 Pro) rather than only existing devices like the PlayStation Portal (curr. $199 on Amazon). While Sony confirmed release details last week, it elected against revealing launch prices for any of the special edition devices concerned.

Nonetheless, @billbil_kun has stepped in to confirm prices for many of Sony's planned 30th anniversary releases. Shared through Dealabs again, the leaker asserts that the PS5 Slim Digital Edition will cost £449.99, $499.99 and €519.99 in the UK, US and Eurozone, respectively. In other words, the 30th-anniversary edition will retail for £60/$50/€70 more than its regular counterpart.

Conversely, the DualSense 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Wireless Controller should come in at £69.99, $79.99 and €79.99, which would match the price of equivalent DualSense controllers like the recent Astro Bot Limited Edition controller. Sony will announce all details about its 30th-anniversary devices on September 26. However, the company will not release any of them until November 21, including the PS5 Pro.
