Oppo's upcoming R15 and R15 Plus smartphone models will be powered by MediaTek's Helio P60 SoC and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, respectively. Both come with 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB storage, pre-installed Android 8.1, a 20 MP selfie cam, a 16 MP + 5 MP dual rear camera, and a 6.28-inch 2280 x 1080 AMOLED screen.

Andy Rubin has green lit the rollout of the Android 8.1 Oreo update for the Essential Phone PH-1. The update is available immediately to all users over-the-air and brings a raft of new features to the device.

Although the rest of the world has to wait for it, the 5.99-inch Honor 7C has just been introduced in China. The specs of this handset also include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 3 GB or 4 GB RAM, a dual camera setup on the back, as well as Android Oreo-based firmware with Huawei's EMUI 8.0 on top.
