CES 2023 | Lenovo 500 USB Type-C Universal Dock expands a PC's I/O with more speedy ports

Most new ultrabooks may have sacrificed some ports in order to get to CES 2023 as thin and light as possible. The new 500 USB Type-C Universal Dock can augment those PCs to USB ports aplenty, dual 10 gigabit per second (Gb/s) type-Cs included. Lenovo thus touts the new accessory as a perfect companion to one of its new IdeaPad laptops.

Lenovo ThinkVision P32pz-30 and P27pz-30 mini-LED monitors introduced with 1,200 nits peak brightness, 1,152 local dimming zones and a KVM switch

Lenovo has launched two new high-end mini-LED monitors, the ThinkVision P32pz-30 and P27pz-30. Both support 10-bit colours and cover 98% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. They can be purchased in August 2023 starting at US$1,699.

Skyworth Clarus preview touts the mini-LED screen as the world's first outdoor Google TV

Skyworth has announced that the Clarus will be the first TV of the type that can be installed outdoors with Google's stock UI on its launch. It is also touted as ideal for its target setting thanks to its bright mini-LED-based display and ingress-resistant metallic housing. The upcoming outdoor TV should become available to pre-order in 2023.

Apple analyst outlines new 24-inch iMac, iMac Pro and Pro Display XDR successor details

Apple may well have new 24-inch iMac and iMac Pro all-in-one machines in development, but neither are expected to arrive until the end of 2023, at the earliest. Mark Gurman has also shared processor details about the pair, along with some information about forthcoming external monitors, including a Pro Display XDR successor.

Nubia has brought another RedMagic-branded gaming monitor to market in China. Sold as a 2K monitor, the RedMagic monitor actually offers a 2.5K native resolution, as well as a 240 Hz refresh rate, among other features.
