Although reverse wireless charging has been around for a while, Xiaomi still has to introduce this feature. The good news is that — at least according to the information discovered in the latest beta MIUI build — the Chinese OEM is working on it and the feature might arrive sooner than expected.

An Android blog has posted new leaked images of a phone with the hallmarks of Samsung's Galaxy Active design and the AT&T logo. Accordingly, it seems that this carrier may start selling this new putative toughphone soon. However, given its retrograde appearance, it is hard to see how the company will manage this.

If the latest renders that surfaced online turn out to be the real thing, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be available in silver, black, and rose gold. This smart wearable will be Samsung's first one to feature Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and is expected to arrive next week.

Although most Apple MacBook Pro-related rumors we keep hearing these days involve a 16-inch model, the model A2159 that was recently spotted on the website of the FCC seems to be an update 13-inch model. A Tiger Lake Y series processor has appeared on UserBenchmark with some incredible benchmark results. The Ice Lake successor is 25% faster than the Ryzen 7 3750H in single and multi-core tasks while being 11% faster than the Core i7-8750H too. Core i9-8950HK level single-core performance from a 5 W chip? Colour us impressed, if not slightly sceptical.

The baby of the upcoming Comet Lake U series and its new iGPU have appeared on GFXBench, leaving the Core i5-8265U and Ryzen 7 2700U in its wake. The Core i3-10110U even edges the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 in some benchmarks, which is mighty impressive from a 15 W integrated GPU.

A Swedish online retailer’s listing for the Sony PlayStation 5 has been making news recently because of the value stated in the placeholder for the console’s price. MediaMarkt has given a figure of 9,999 Swedish krona for the PS5, which equates to around US$1,054 or €946. This has led to new speculation of what the device could end up actually costing.

A recent Geekbench listing has revealed that Intel has a fourth Comet Lake U processor up its sleeve, and it could be a corker. Named the Core i7-10710U, it will be the first hexacore CPU in Intel's U series and will come with 12 MB of L3 cache along with a 4.67 GHz turbo clock speed.

The Google device codenamed "Atlas" has just surfaced in an FCC listing. If the rumor turns out to be true, this portable made by Quanta Computer Inc. will soon hit the market as the Pixelbook 2. Vivo is set to release a phone that will not only support 5G, but will also feature the latest flagship processor from Qualcomm. A promotional image supposedly associated with this phone (the iQOO Pro 5G) has leaked via Weibo. It alleges that it will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB in fixed storage, and will cost 4498 yuan (US$654) - however, ROG may have an answer to this already.

Xiaomi is now rumored to have updates for its Mi Gaming notebook line in the works. The 2019 versions of these laptops may be powered by either the RTX 2060 or GTX 1660 Ti. This is not much of a stretch, as last year's models were powered by their effective predecessors.

The renowned leaker Ishan Agarwal claims to have heard that Nokia will release its first phone with a pop-up selfie camera soon, and that it will be the 8.2. Some new trademarking applications associated with the OEM Samsung have reportedly been filed with UK and EU authorities. They are for "Smart ISO" and "AI ISO", and apply to Class 9 equipment. This suggests a new dimension of control over light sensitivity in upcoming smartphone cameras.

Well, well, well. We might have just got our first sight of an AMD Threadripper 3000 series processor, courtesy of a posting on UserBenchmark. The processor, which we expect to see before the end of the year, is compatible with the TR4 socket and existing X399-based motherboards. It leaves the Threadripper 2950X and Ryzen 9 3900X in its wake in multi-core tasks too.

According to a new report, a Canadian citizen was able to call for help for himself and his island-hopping fellow tourists using his Samsung Galaxy S8, the only device that apparently survived when their boat capsized off the coast of the Phillippines. The victims of this event were also able to signal their location using the phone's GPS.

It has been speculated that this software exists as a contingency for the OEM's uncertain position with respect to the use of Android. Samsung is now linked to a potentially different variant of the Galaxy M30 smartphone. Some leaks have indicated that, should such a device exist, it may have a more powerful processor than the original. Ironically, however, new render suggest that it will have dual rear cameras where the M30 has 3.
