Samsung is now linked to a potentially different variant of the Galaxy M30 smartphone. Some leaks have indicated that, should such a device exist, it may have a more powerful processor than the original. Ironically, however, new render suggest that it will have dual rear cameras where the M30 has 3.

In an interesting potential twist for buyers in the sub-premium smartphone space, Samsung is now rumored to be producing several different variations on pre-existing 2019 devices. One example is the Galaxy M30, which may be getting an alternative SKU called the M30s.

A model number that may pertain to this phone has been spotted in benchmarking results that suggest it will get an updated Exynos processor compared to the M30. It follows that the newer variant may also get additional enhanced specs. However, the latest leak on the subject indicates that the situation is not that simple.

It consists of various renders that purport to show the Samsung Galaxy M30s in a clear case. The 'clear' aspect is important, as it may reveal this putative new phone's colorways. They are gradient forms of green, purple or red. This is a possible improvement on the M30's relatively dull black and blue options.

However, the images also give the Samsung Galaxy M30s dual rear cameras, whereas the M30 has a triple module instead. Therefore, should these new renders turn out to be accurate, it may be that the M30s is directed at those who may value computing performance over photography in their next phone.
