Samsung is now thought to have a successor for the Galaxy Watch Active in the works. The latest leaks on the subject claims that one variant of this putative wearable will be produced in collaboration with the sportswear company Under Armour. It may come with an exclusive band and 6 months' worth of free MapMyRun access.

Recent online speculation has led to the theory that the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be the next smartwatch to be released by this OEM. The latest leaks surrounding this putative wearable indicate that one SKU of this product will also have the logos of a second company at its launch. In keeping with this device series' sports-focused theme, this brand is rumored to be Under Armour.

This supposed special Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 edition may come with a distinctive strap, as well as bundled access to the MapMyRun service for 6 months. In other potential Samsung wearable news, it is now thought that an LTE version of this new watch could come in 4 different colors, and not 3 as originally hypothesized. The additional shade may be rose gold.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth is also now projected to ship with an SKU of the same color, in addition to dark blue and silver (as did its predecessor). The LTE-enabled units of this putative smartwatch is also thought to be finished in stainless steel, whereas the Bluetooth type will have an aluminum case instead.
