Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Editon goes on sale
Samsung has carved out a decent slice of the Android smartwatch market with its Galaxy Watch range over the past few years and it seems to have found a sweet spot with its new Galaxy Watch Active line. The new Galaxy Watch Active 2, which has been on the market for a weeks to good reviews, has now been joined by the brand new Under Armour Edition which has been designed to take on the Apple Watch Nike variant.
The Under Armour Edition of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 has been designed with exclusive features for dedicated runners with a few to optimizing running form while reducing the risk of injury. Some of the unique features the device boasts include cadence based real-time form coaching and premium access to the MapMyRun online fitness community via the watch. This offers faster access to fitness insights, more personalized coaching and a wide range of workout direct from a user’s wrist.
The Under Armour Edition is also designed to pair with Under Armour’s UA HOVR connected footwear. Paired together, users will see visual feedback and hear audio cues during workouts. User can set personalized goals such as pace, distance and duration with haptic feedback also used to give guidance. Following a workout, users will be able to access detailed analysis of form and in-depth views on running techniques that the company’s both claim are unique to the device.
