A fire in an NZXT H1 case could lead to a severely damaged GPU or worse. (Image source: NZXT/Gamers Nexus)

Updated | Sparks fly as NZXT H1 PCIe riser cable screw fire hazard and insufficient workaround solution are exposed

The NZXT H1 case has come under very close scrutiny from the team at Gamers Nexus in two recent videos. It appears a fault with the PCIe riser involving conductive metal screws, an unplated PCB through hole, and an exposed 12 V plane has caused some units to catch on fire. NZXT has issued a workaround with nylon screws, but this still leaves faulty boards in place.
Update: NZXT has taken greater and more positive steps to address the issue.

Amazing Apple M1X Geekbench multi-core result more likely produced by an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X rather than a rumored 20-core Cupertino beast

An image taken from an alleged Geekbench run for a MacBook Pro18,1 system has supposedly revealed the multi-core power of the rumored Apple M1X chip. The score of 18,520 is over 140% higher than our results with an 8-core Apple M1.
