It has been reported that Samsung has had to pause the rollout for the Android 11 One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy S10 series. The reasons for the halt have yet to be divulged but it’s likely bugs have been discovered. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Android 11 One UI 3.0 update was only first made available a couple of weeks ago.

Sammobile has posted an article claiming that the Android 11 One UI 3.0 update rollout for the Samsung Galaxy S10 series has now been stopped. We reported about the rollout commencing just a couple of weeks ago, but it seems the presence of some unnamed bugs or glitches has thrown a spanner in the works.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 series consists of five devices: Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 5G, and the Galaxy S10 Lite. The original Galaxy S10 came with Android 9.0 Pie and Samsung’s One UI 1.1 overlay. A roadmap that was revealed in December showed that the One UI 3.0 update was in preparation for a January 2021 rollout for the Galaxy S10 smartphone range.

Potential firmware bugs have been mentioned, with overheating and camera blur both listed as issues that have struck Galaxy S10 owners who managed to upgrade to the Android 11 One UI 3.0 build. The update was supposedly at a stable phase, so having to pause the Galaxy S10 Android 11 One UI 3.0 upgrade rollout is quite a mishap for Samsung.
