A new leak has made the prospect of upcoming Samsung Galaxy Book Pros all but official. The Bluetooth SIG has acknowledged their existence, revealing that there are also several variants of these new machines. Furthermore, there will be "360" versions of the same.
This is as strong a hint as any that the Book Pros are laptops (or ultrabooks), whereas the 360 is a convertible. The potential 2-in-1 also has a 5G variant, whereas the Pro has one with LTE connectivity. There are also multiple model numbers for 2 of the 3 new options, most likely indicating several RAM/storage SKUs.
There are five SKUs of the Galaxy Book Pro, and six each of the Book Pro and 360. This implies a wide price-range for the new Samsung PC series, although their new moniker may be a sign that they will not come cheap.
It will be interesting to see how they differ from the existing Galaxy Book Flex series, the latest of which has 11th-gen Intel processors. In addition, Samsung is also rumored to launch the Galaxy Book Go soon, which, by the sound of it, might be a more affordable alternative to new or existing ultrabooks from the OEM.
