Sony has finally launched its first smartphone with an OLED display. The new XZ3 is also its most contemporary flagship design in some time, which should go a long way to giving the Japanese tech giant its first smartphone hit in years.

Skagen has released its second-generation smartwatch. The new Skagen Falster 2 maintains the style of the original, but adds more functionality so that it can compete with the best on the market.

Asus has unveiled updates to its ZenBook Flip lineup of convertibles. Both the ZenBook Flip 13 and Flip 15 sport even more slimmer bezels than their predecessors and come upgraded with the latest Intel 'Whiskey Lake-U' CPUs. The ZenBook Flip 13 features a unique Precision touchpad that doubles up as the Numpad while the ZenBook Flip 15 offers a PANTONE-certified display with NVIDIA discrete graphics.

Samsung is expected to launch three variants of the Galaxy S10 next year and apparently, all three variants will sport in-display fingerprint sensors with the two higher-end variants housing an ultrasonic scanner and the third lower-end model featuring an optical scanner. The use of in-display fingerprint sensors is expected to define the overall smartphone market next year.

The XPS 13 convertible is returning next month with refreshed Intel 8th gen Y-series CPUs. Dell will be sticking with the same design, but they have suggested that the series has been successful enough that a full refresh will almost surely happen sometime down the road.

The 13-inch Inspiron 13 7386, 15-inch Inspiron 15 7586, and Inspiron 17 7786 convertible notebooks will all carry similar CPU Core i5-8265U and i7-8565U options when they launch in early October. Their announcements supplement the reveal of Intel Whiskey Lake at this year's IFA.

Apple is expected to launch three new iPhone X successors this September and apparently, the company is referring to them as 'S' devices as they are externally similar to the iPhone X and only sport internal upgrades. Rumors about a BlackBerry KEY2 Lite smartphone are have just been refueled with TCL's teaser of a new model that will be announced at IFA 2018 on August 30. The Lite version should keep the same appearance as the regular version, complete with the QWERTY keyboard, but some key hardware components like the SoC, memory, camera setup and battery would be downgraded.
