The lower mid-range Realme 6i sits right between the Realme C3 budget phone and the upper mid-range Realme 6, and it is available for less than $200. Hardware-wise it is closer to the C3 than the Realme 6.

Honor has launched the Play4 and 4 Pro today (June 3, 2020) in China. The latter does indeed rock the premium Kirin 990 5G chipset, in line with previous leaks - and for only around US$400, too. Those looking for something fresher, however, could consider the vanilla model, which comes with the 2020 mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC.

Prolific leaker Ice Universe just revealed what could be the camera configuration of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+. The upcoming flagship will reportedly come with a 108MP sensor coupled with a 13MP periscope lens and a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens. Samsung will also replace the ToF sensor with a laser focus sensor.

Merely a week after it released a 5G-ready Exynos 880, Samsung has released a new Exynos 850 SoC. The 8nm chip consists of eight ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, comes with a Mali G-52GPU, and supports a single 21MP or dual 16+5MP camera configurations. Samsung hasn't specified as to when the chip will make its debut, but we can expect it to feature in an upcoming Galaxy A or M series phone.

OPPO has announced that the Reno4 series of smartphones will launch on June 5, 2020. This line is currently thought to have vanilla and Pro variants. One of them may have found its way onto Geekbench 5, which reveals it may have 12GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 765G processor.

Apple is considering a large US$330 million investment in a microLED manufacturing plant in Taiwan. The investment would be a joint venture with Epistar and AU Optronics. This investment could lead to the use of microLED displays in future iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and MacBook Pros.

It has been found that a certain wallpaper can soft-brick several Android phones particularly newer Samsung phones and Google Pixels. Apparently, this is due to Android's SystemUI not being able to handle the higher Google Skia color gamut of the image leading to a crash and boot loop. While not all phones are affected, it is advised that users do not attempt to use this image as a wallpaper in daily-driver phones.

The biggest difference between the Huawei P40 Pro and the more expensive P40 Pro Plus are the phones' telephoto lenses, as the P40 Pro Plus offers a 10x zoom lens versus the P40 Pro's 5x zoom. Samsung has filed a patent for a foldable phone with a "waterproof housing". The document's images depicts this device as similar to the Galaxy Fold, but with a tougher-looking, possibly thicker, chassis. However, the internal tablet-sized screen remains more or less the same.

McLaren has just acknowledged that its partnership with OnePlus has ended. The company doesn't explicitly state why the nearly two-year-old endeavor came to an end and hopes that it can work with OnePlus in the future. Rumour has it that the Exynos 992 is headed to the Galaxy Note 20 series and that it will be manufactured on a 5 nm process. Apparently featuring new ARM Cortex-A78 and Mali-G78 cores, the Note 20 has been spotted with a 4,300 mAh battery too.
