With the help of an adhesive, the Snapods earbuds can snap into place on the back of any smartphone. The buds weigh just a tenth of an ounce and are touch-sensitive for user controls.

TWS earbuds are becoming increasingly common these days and much more affordable than before. The Scendo Snapods earbuds, for example, will launch for $99 USD compared to $199 USD for the Apple AirPods 3.

According to the Scendo Kickstarter page, the Snapods can attach magnetically to the rear of any smartphone with the help of a sticky magnetic pad. The TWS earbuds come equipped with the Qualcomm 3040 for audio processing, support for both AAC and aptX, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, splash proof design, USB Type-C charging, and up to 45 hours of battery life.

Our main concern with the Snapods is that the sticky magnetic pad on the back of some Android smartphones may interfere with wireless charging. Even something as thin as a piece of paper or sticker could prevent smartphones from charging wirelessly. Furthermore, our experience with a pair of pre-production Snapods had pairing problems with our iPhone SE and the earbuds would even wiggle in their case and subsequently auto-connect or reconnect. We can only assume that the manufacturer will address these issues by the time the Snapods become publicly available on February of next year.
