Motorola released the Moto G Stylus along with the G Power to the US market in early 2020. This combination of mid-range specs and a Galaxy Note-style pen must have proven popular, as the OEM is allegedly launching its successor in 2021.
According to the famous leaker Evan Blass, this next-gen G Stylus will still have an FHD+ display, although it will grow compared to that of its inaugural generation to 6.81 inches. It will also get a Snapdragon 675 SoC, whereas the 2020 model has the 665. The putative new Moto G variant's fingerprint sensor may integrate into its power button as opposed to the rear panel as in this year's version.
It is also now projected to have 48+8+2+2MP rear cameras. Then again, this "Moto G Stylus 2021" (or "Motorola XT2115") may have the same battery capacity as last time (4000mAh). Its series may also persist in omitting NFC and having 4GB RAM/128GB configurations. There are no hints as to its price as yet; for reference, the G Stylus 2020 started at US$300.
