Xiaomi has sent out MIUI 12 beta builds to a number of its premium phones over the past few weeks, but is now suspending the MIUI 12 rollout for the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro. The company seeks to better optimize the software, and has confirmed that the rollout will continue soon.

Some alleged marketing material for a Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ smartphone has been leaked onto a popular Chinese social network. The text reveals a few key specifications about the supposed Mi 10 Pro+ device, including the presence of a Snapdragon 865 SoC, 120 Hz display, and 65 W fast-charge technology.

The Nokia 9 PureView was supposed to redefine smartphone photography, but its Light-backed camera system continues to fall well short of expectations. Well, Light has now confirmed that it no longer operates in the smartphone industry, seemingly making the Nokia 9 PureView a one of a kind smartphone.

Samsung has announced BTS Editions of the Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+. The former will be available in 5G and LTE variants, while all devices will come with BTS photocards. The Galaxy Buds+ are available to pre-order now, with the Galaxy S20+ BTS Editions joining the earbuds on June 19.

Samsung's newest One UI 2.1 update is now making its way to Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus users. The update includes all the One UI 2.1 features, including Pro Video Mode, Quick Share, and more. It is rolling out in Germany and will be available globally in the coming days.

Microsoft’s Surface Duo Android-based smartphone looks like it could be coming sooner rather than later. According to the latest rumor, the device could be set to launch as soon as next month as Microsoft is said to be keen to launch it ahead of the Galaxy Fold 2.

OEMs are getting in on the act of bringing Android 11 Beta 1 to some of their devices. To date, only OnePlus has released the initial beta besides Google. An industry insider states that Samsung is working on a Lite version of the Galaxy S20 series. There are three variants of the Galaxy S20 Lite in the works, all of which will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. An alleged Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC has been spotted on AnTuTu apparently destroying all the high scores set by its Snapdragon 865 stablemate. A new leaked has confirmed the design of the HTC Desire 20 Pro. Published by Evan Blass, the leak is seemingly of a hands-on with the device. Prolific leaker Digital Chat Station states that Xiaomi will release five Qualcomm Snapdragon 865-powered smartphones in the coming months. The phones are codenamed J20, J21, J1, J1S, and J1T, two of which could be Redmi devices. The leaker further adds that the phone codenamed J1S is already in the production line.

Android 10 has started rolling out to Moto G7 Power handsets in Brazil. Motorola later confirmed the update schedule, saying that the update would come to Brazil first before arriving in other regions. The company also confirmed that it is working on updating the Moto G7 Play to Android 10, though it did not give a concrete date for the update.

Xiaomi Spain has officially listed the Redmi 9 on its website ahead of the phone's June 25 release. The phone will feature a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with 3/4GB of RAM, 32/46GB of internal storage, a quad-camera setup, a 6.5-inch FHD+ screen, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports charging at up to 18W. It will retail for €149($169) in Spain.

HTC has yet to be heard of in the context of new phones in 2020. However, the OEM has just confirmed that it will change this with an upcoming June event. According to recent rumors, the devices to be launched may be called the Desire 20 series, one of which could also be 5G.
