AMD offers better multi-core performance. Having recently reviewed the Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 with the AMD CPU, we now move on to the ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 with a Tiger Lake processor. Read our review to learn how the Intel chip stacks up against the AMD processor.

Full performance after BIOS updates. The ThinkPad P73 has been around for a while, but Lenovo had to deliver some BIOS updates before the device could use the full potential of its components. Neither Intel, nor Nvidia, introduced major updates in the last 18 months, so the P73 is still up to date in the beginning of 2021.

Cheap TrackPoint Tiger. It has been some time since Lenovo released the AMD Ryzen 4000 variant. Now there is an Intel-based version of the ThinkPad E14 Gen 2. The new ThinkPad laptop gets a Thunderbolt port, which is a novelty for this model, and offers plenty of CPU performance.

Well-known laptop with a new screen. We are already familiar with the Lenovo ThinkPad P15s Gen 1 even though this is the first time we have it in our hands. This may sound like a contradiction, however, we are familiar with all the aspects of the ThinkPad P15s Gen 1 except for one: The factory-calibrated UHD display that is supposed to be brighter than all other ThinkPad screens.

Hot CAD compact class. Lenovo's ThinkPad P14s Gen 1 borrows its design from the T-model ThinkPad T14 and includes an Nvidia Quadro GPU as a unique selling point. For the majority of users, this will probably only bring minor advantages, also because its performance is limited per se. However, the ThinkPad P14s can be a good choice for one or two CAD applications on the go.

AMD dominance in the ThinkPad-series? The predecessor suffered from a dim display and a throttled Whiskey Lake processor. For the first time ever we also take a look at the AMD SKU of this year's Lenovo L-series ThinkPad and are excited to see how well the Ryzen 5 4500U hexa-core performs. After all, the AMD-equipped ThinkPad E14 and T14 notebooks managed their Intel counterparts by significant margins.

UGREEN is a brand known for its multi-port docking solutions. Its latest product does one better, however, in that it is a hybrid of one of these devices and a laptop stand. Its maker asserts that its built-in connectivity is housed in a chassis made of high-end, recyclable materials. But how does this idea work out in practice?

AMD upgrade. Lenovo's ThinkPad L series includes inexpensive business laptops that have been able to convince in the past with good input devices and quite high-quality workmanship. The current 15-inch model in the series seeks to carry on this tradition while dramatically improving system performance with the new AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750 at the same time.
