14-inches are arguably still the predominant size in the business laptop segment, which is why devices like the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 often fly under the radar compared to the more attention-grabbing ThinkPad X1 Carbon (from US$1,295 on Amazon). However, the second generation of the smaller sister model might be the better choice for deal hunters, since it can now be ordered at a considerable discount.

Lenovo is currently selling the ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 configuration with the efficient Intel Core i7-1165G7 quad-core processor and 16GB of soldered DDR4 memory for US$799 including free shipping on eBay. The laptop also comes with a reasonably sized 512GB SSD and a matte Full-HD display with up to 300 nits of brightness. The official list price for this particular Lenovo ThinkPad X13 model stands at a rather unrealistic US$2,619, in which case this deal would offer a massive 69 percent in savings.

We reviewed this exact configuration of the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 back in July of 2021, and we very much enjoyed the well-made and sturdy chassis as well as the good overall system performance. The long battery life, good port selection and relatively color-accurate display are further strong suits of this business laptop. On sale for US$799, the ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 may not a killer bargain, but it most certainly is a reasonable purchase for office users who are looking for a reliable 13-inch machine in this price range.
