Deal | Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 with AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD discounted by 66%

The rather flashy but not exactly successful X1 Titanium Yoga isn't the only 13-inch machine that is currently on sale at Lenovo. Prospective buyers who actually prefer a more traditional clamshell business laptop can now benefit from a similarly enticing deal for the ThinkPad X13 Gen 3, whose top-end AMD configuration has now dropped below the US$1,000 mark on eBay.

In this particular case, the Chinese manufacturer itself is selling the third-generation Lenovo ThinkPad X13, which is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U and 16GB of soldered LPDDR5 memory for US$949 including free shipping. This constitutes a generous discount of 66 percent or more than US$1,800 in comparison to the unrealistic MSRP of the 13-inch business laptop, which further sports a large 1TB NVMe SSD as well as a 16:10 Full-HD IPS display with Privacy Guard and comes in the fancy "Storm Grey"-colored chassis.

We've thoroughly tested the previous generation of the AMD-powered Lenovo ThinkPad X13, and since the third generation was only a minor refresh, some of our findings should also apply to the machine that is on sale here. For example, Gen 3 buyers will enjoy the sturdy and well-made chassis as well as the comprehensive port selection and the 500-nit display with 100% sRGB coverage. In contrast to the Intel counterpart, this configuration does not support Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and the keyboard quality has deteriorated a bit compared to earlier ThinkPads. Nonetheless, this deal is one of the cheapest opportunities yet to pick up the well-performing 13-inch business laptop.
