It is not yet clear what markets would benefit from the increased ARM demand, but, seeing that AMD is already planning to use Xilinx tech for its datacenter products, we could infer that ARM may be destined for Team Red’s desktop and laptop product stacks.

A new price leak for Intel’s Alder Lake chips has emerged, with the data coming from a US retailer. The overall prices appear to be less expensive than those that featured in a previous leak, with the Intel Core i9-12900K priced at around US$605. The prices listed would make the 12th Gen Alder Lake chips more competitive against AMD’s Zen 3 offerings.

Early pricing information for Intel's upcoming 12th generation Alder Lake desktop processors have leaked via a few European retailers. The leaked pricing seems to be on the higher side, but Intel could be looking to match AMD's Zen 3 offerings. A new leak from ResetEra tells us that Sony plans to bring all five Uncharted games to PC soon. The bundle will be announced on September 6 and will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

These drives are not similar to existing hybrid SSHDs since OptiNAND is not used to store user data. The Core i9-12900K is on an average up to 13% and 7% faster in single and multi-core over the Ryzen 9 5950X, which are decent leads. The benchmark seems to have been run on a system running Windows 11 Pro equipped with DDR5-4800 RAM.

The expected Apple M1X SoC has been broken down into four potential variants for the upcoming MacBook Pro 14, MacBook Pro 16, and Mac mini. The system on a chip’s configurations are decided by the amount of unified memory and the GPU core count. It has been rumored that the M1X will have a 10-core CPU part.

For a while, it looked like the end of the line for many older PCs: The hardware requirements of Microsoft Windows 11 were going to leave many older systems behind. Now, Microsoft has made it clear that older PCs will be able run Windows 11 - with the caveat that the users have to upgrade them manually.

While the labels are clearly stating 20 GB, there is nothing else attesting to the actual VRAM capacity of these cards. These are probably some mislabeled models that still pack 12 GB, but just imagine the ridiculous prices asked by retailers if 20 GB models were indeed real.

AOC has announced four new professional monitors under its P2 series. All come with plenty of I/O, including a USB Type-C port that supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt mode. The new P2 series monitors will retail between £289.99 and £499.99.

The Gracemont little cores are now rumored to provide better performance than previously thought, helping Intel's Alder Lake mid-tier model outperform even the Ryzen 7 5800X by around 5% in multi-core loads at a ~$100 lower MSRP.
