Videocardz reports that a new Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti PCI ID has been spotted in the latest 511.23 Studio driver. The 2414 ID seems to be a variant of the GA103 GPU that will be released with the new RTX 3080 Ti laptop SKUs. It looks like this is a desktop version rather than a laptop one, though.
The new ID was immediately added to the PCI Device ID database, where we can see that RTX 3060 Ti is already available in the original GA104 form plus a Lite Hash Rate version. Videocardz notes that these GA104 versions of the RTX 3060 Ti have been the least supplied models from the RTX 30 family, as Nvidia prioritizes the more expensive GA104-based RTX 3070 cards.
Specs have not yet been confirmed, but twitter leaker kopite7kimi claims that the new RTX 3060 Ti will feature the GA103-200 GPU with the same specs as GA104 from the original RTX 3060 Ti. If this is indeed the case, the new version would still feature 4864 CUDA cores with 14 Gbps 8 GB of VRAM and 256-bit memory bus, but it might also be fabricated on an improved Samsung node with better yields, so the supply could potentially improve and lead to deflating prices.
