HP Elite 800 G9 Series desktops get upgraded to 65 W Intel Alder Lake and up to optional Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti or RTX 3070 graphics

HP has introduced new desktops aimed at business and professional users. The Elite 800 G9 Series includes the Elite SFF 800 G9, Elite Mini 800 G9, and the Elite Tower 800 G9. These desktops come with improved enterprise security and management combined with flexibility in upgrades.

HP, today, introduced a range of desktop PCs targeting business users. The Elite 800 G9 Series is designed for businesses looking at good enterprise manageability combined with the ease of upgrades down the line. HP has three new offerings in the Elite 800 G9 desktop lineup — the Elite SFF 800 G9, Elite Mini 800 G9, and the Elite Tower 800 G9.

Elite SFF 800 G9

The Elite SFF 800 G9, as the name suggests, is a small form factor PC that offers good flexibility in management and upgrades. It can be configured with Intel 12th gen Core processors up to 65 W up to the Core i9 and in vPro configurations. The SFF 800 G9 can be equipped with up to 128 GB DDR5-4400 RAM and with optional Nvidia or AMD discrete graphics. HP said that there is also scope for dual PCIe Gen4 storage along with the company's Wolf Security for Business suite.

The HP Elite SFF 800 G9 will be available in late March with pricing expected closer to availability.

Elite Mini 800 G9

The Elite Mini 800 G9 is designed for compact workspaces and as such is able to offer both 35 W and 65 W 12th gen processors. Users can also mount the Mini 800 G9 behind a compatible HP monitor. However, the memory expansion is limited to 64 GB DDR5-4800. The Elite Mini 800 G9 does not offer AMD GPU options, but buyers can optionally configure with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. 

The HP Elite Mini 800 G9 is expected to be available in late March. Pricing information will be revealed at a later date.

Elite Tower 800 G9

The Elite Tower 800 G9 offers the largest footprint in the series and is aimed at professional workflows such as 3D rendering and handling VR content. Buyers can configure the Elite Tower 800 G9 with up to 65 W Core i9 Alder Lake vPro processors and with up to 128 GB DDR5-4400 memory. HP said that the Tower 800 G9 can be equipped with optional Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 or Quadro T400 graphics. AMD options are also apparently in the offing at a later date. 

According to HP. the Elite Tower 800 G9 can be expected in late February in select markets with pricing being disclosed closer to availability.
